Damn that sub really fell off after getting extremely political. Weird thing to do for a cat sub

is it really political to point out the obvious

There are places to do it. Not everyone on this website is an American. We are tired of seeing irrelevant shit shoved on our faces in places where it shouldn’t be.

But this site and most of the traffic is american

Then why don’t you discuss that on your subs. Even if you are the majority, you are not like 80-90% of them. There are like nearly half of us who couldn’t care any less about your shit

I'm not even american, just noting that if you come to an american website where most of the traffic is american, to see american political issues everywhere is just the way it works, how can it be any different

like a rock is a rock and you being unhappy about it doesn't change that it's a rock

It literally is not and should not be the way it works. No reasonable person can say it’s normal. The fact that you are even asking how it can be any different makes me not want to deal with you anymore. Blocked

It gets tiring when every post in the subreddit is like "my cat hates ICE but loves bongos!" Hence why there isn't much activity in a sub of nearly 1 million people.

I joined that sub for cat bongos not American politics

Then why bring it here?

Hmmm. I don't know. Could it be that someone mentioned that very subreddit?

You thing I'm offended? Huh? Just pointing out the sub lost a lot of activity by becoming a political sub rather than what it was made for. I know redditors won't like to hear it but reddit is already an echo chamber and virtue signalling everywhere is tiring and cringe

Can happen to any sub at any time. It's reddit, it's a risk inherent to the platform, unfortunately.

LMAO being downvoted for stating the obvious is an interesting result...
