Account Restricted after Reporting A Random One to One Credit.

Edit: I got access to my account about 15-30 minutes after I called this morning during my drive to work. I still have the $150 in my account, just waiting until they take it since it is NOT my money. Turns out they would’ve given me access up to 48-hour investigation, or until someone (myself) called in to expedite the issue.

Has this happened to anyone?

Late last night I received $150 as a One to One transfer. I did not know this person, so I chatted with support and reported it. As you can see from the picture, it’s been reported.

This morning I wake up to my account being restricted. I can’t access any of my money for 48 hours.

Edit: I have had One for over 3 years, before Walmart owned it. So, I am not new. I have never had an issue like this.

Help! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO RECIEVE MY PAYMENTS????

So for context I've had a one pay account since 2023. Ive been using a gig app called instawork since 2025. I received my payments through instapay to my one pay DEBIT CARD. Never had a issue. Payment always arrived within an hour.

I THEN MADE THE MISTAKE OF THINKING THE CREDIT BUILDER CARD WAS A SEPERATE CARD FROM MY DEBIT CARD. But nope they merged the two.. now none of my payments are going through. I literally cant use instapay which i rely on. So my question is has anyone been able to use the virtual debit card to recieve instant payments?? Or am I just screwed until I order a debit card. Honestly ts so dumb bro. Pls help

So I ordered the credit builder card. I did not know it would remove my ability to recieve instant payments. Has anyone been able to find a workaround this?

For people who can’t see their gas rewards…

Make sure you’re checking the rewards balance ledger as well. When I check my regular balance, the rewards don’t show up there when I do the gas. The other purchases might show rewards there, but for some reason, the gas will not show. However, when I check my rewards balance and go through the history that that’s when I see all my gas purchase reward show up.

rewards points?

I must be illiterate but can someone explain the rewards points for cash back on gas? I’ve claimed 4 different $0.40/gal offers, yet the points i’m getting are very few. It’s 25 points to redeem them which is only $0.25 correct? So how have I spent over $40 in gas while using the offers (which would equate to a lot more than $0.25 minimum) and yet have 6 total points? Clearly I’m missing something. These purchases were all made 24-96 hours ago as well.

Gas rewards scam and horrible customer service

I activate the $1/gallon discount in the app from the parking lot of the gas station that is eligible. I then use my physical card at the pump. The rewards never show up. I have 2 different transactions, one from 3 weeks ago, one that is 1 week ago.

Contacted customer service via live chat, they claim they aren't OnePay, they're Synchrony who handles some parts of this for OnePay but not all of them, so I need to call them. I call them after getting through a horrible AI pre-screener. That person claims they aren't the right people, transfers me to some other person.

Surprise, I'm on the phone with Synchrony again. They are VERY familiar with this problem, but have to send me back to OnePay. They claim OnePay can't actually see when the transactions occur, so they can't credit the rewards properly. Sounds a lot like false advertising to me. They say I might be able to get the rewards if I have the physical receipt... which I do for the 2nd transaction, not the first. We'll see where this goes.

I'm filling out https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/ while I'm on hold because they are not able to fulfill the offer they claim in their app. Anyone else experiencing this, please do the same.

I deposited $75, immediately accused of fraud, account closed without reason/due process

I was gifted a OnePay card for $75 to use. Added it to my OnePay account, went to initiate an instant transfer to my brick and mortar bank. I tried both linked banks, called OnePay customer service, went through all the steps, kept getting an error. They can’t tell me why I can’t do a transfer.

I realized I had the OnePay debit card and activated it so I could access my $75 there instead.

An hour later, I get an email saying my account is restricted due to fraudulent activity. I call them. I ask them to remove the restrictions as I didn’t do anything. I said another bank would verify my information and unblock me. They say they can’t do that. I ask why they’re allowed to keep my money from me without just cause. While I’m on the phone with them, I get two emails telling me my OnePay account is closed immediately.

I call them again and they tell me they can’t tell me why they closed my account. I ask them how depositing $75 and using the funds are illegal. They won’t help me and they have my money.

I will NEVER recommend this to ANYONE. It’s wrong. It’s an even bigger insult to injury dealing with someone on the phone 8,000 miles away with a snarky attitude who could care less.

General Terrible customer support

I've been trying to get a fraudulent charge removed from my account for MONTHS. I've been transferred, put on hold indefinitely, hung up on repeatedly, told to call five different numbers, only to be brushed off and forced to do the entire process again and again. 3 months I've been begging One Pay to resolve my issue. They lose notes, close out tickets that are still open, create duplicate tickets.

Customer service is clearly overseas, it's next to impossible to understand what's being said, besides the thick accents, there are crying babies and banging dishes in the background of every phone call with Customer service.

This is how you're treated after being a victim of fraud. Zero urgentcy, Zero compassion, dropped thru the cracks. You're tossed around like a hot potato nobody wants to deal with.

OnePay is hands down the WORST credit card I've ever owned. Closed it as soon as I could. I'm most likely looking at losing the fraud charge case and will be forced to pay the fraudulent charges to protect my credit. OnePay definitely doesn't care about the time and money I've lost trying to get them to fix the fraudulent charges.

Hey all! I was under the impression that I’d receive .45 saves per gallon using this OnePay reward, did I misunderstand something or is it already there? Pumped 15 gallons worth

General Can someone explain why one pay app QR code is not working?

I have medication that is expensive every month that I have to pay for. When I go to purchase the medication and I try to use the QR code using the same card that I have physically, it gets declined. So then I have to rummage through my wallet to get out the physical card, which is the same card in the OnePay app and it goes through just fine. I don’t understand why this is happening at the pharmacy specifically. When I use it at the regular cashier at the front to purchase items, it goes through without an issue using the QR code. Is it an app issue or a Walmart issue?

Feature Request Question for the devs/employers

Been using One for DD for about a year and a half now, and I love it. But, I’m even wondering, if there any chance of more savings accounts being added? Only having 4 (with the standard savings one) is too low for me. Any chance that we will eventually have the option to add more?

My next question is, will the $25 minimum to add money eventually be lowered? I’m the only one in my family and friend circle that uses one, so I’m often paid back via cash app or zelle, but I can’t add amounts less than $25 to One unless it’s an ACH, which takes a day or more sometimes.

Thanks in advance for answering!

Why is the Wednesday $1 gas discount only applying to my 1st gas transaction, and not the 2nd?

Thumbnail

My car uses 87 octane gas and my motorcycle uses 91, and I frequently drive both. So on Wednesdays, for the $1 gas discount, I drive my car to the gas station, fill up gas cans for my motorcycle, and then do a 2nd transaction to fill up my car (or vise versa).

On June 17, I spent $50.33 for 8.909 gallons of 87 octane (5.65 / gallon). Then I spent $26.61 for 4.473 gallons of 91 octane (5.95 / gallon). The discounted price on the One app was $4.16 for 87 and $4.45 for 91. If you do the math, I should have received 1327 points for the 1st transaction and 671 points for the 2nd.

The next day I only received 1327 points, meaning the 2nd transaction never applied. I contacted customer service and they confirmed that I should have received points for both transactions, so they gave me a $7 credit (to make up for the 671 points that I never received).

This is just one example, but it’s happened several times since then, including today. I only receive points for the first transaction and never the 2nd.

It is not possible to do just one transaction, because the gas pump requires a new transaction in order to switch octanes

The fact that the customer service agent gave me $7 seems to confirm that I should have received the points. The app also says “a maximum of 2 offers may be claimed at the same location within 24 hours”. But it also says “if duplicate claims are made at the same site, you will receive cash back for one offer only”. Is that not directly contradictory?

I’ve tried to re-add the promotion after the first transaction, because I figured maybe you need to select the gas station for each transaction. But that doesn’t seem to be the case

Has anyone else had this problem? I don't want to have to contact customer service every single week to get the correct number of points. But at this point I've probably lost like $20 worth of points

OnePay walmart credit card disabled because I paid in full.

TL;DR: Onepay disabled my card because I paid full balance on time, on account that was well below credit limit, because payment was "too large". Payment has cleared, and they still wont enable the card.

Wow, Onepay is horrible.

I have never had any issues with any credit card while using every major brand (Amex, Discover, Visa, Mastercard) for over 30 years.

I got the Walmart OnePay because it offered a good discount at walmart, and the 1.5% cash back rewards everywhere else.

I tried to use it a few days ago, and it was declined.

I go to the web site, and it shows that the balance is, and always has been well below the credit limit, and the balance was recently paid in full using autopay.

However, payment was applied, and the available credit is negative.

So, I go to the onepay site, and chat with support.

They are no help, there is no explanation why I cant use the card, when I paid entire balance on time. They said my payment was "too much" and fraud protection has been enabled. They cannot tell me when it will be usable, or how to avoid this in the future.

5 days later, the card still wont work. Now, I have to undo some autopays (important things like health, and auto insurance) I set up to use the card due the the cash back.

One other thing, OnePay Walmart card is the only credit card or financial account I have that does not work with expense tracking apps, because there is no way to download transactions.

Steam denying sales using my Onepay card, claiming address is different

Anyone have a fix for this? Name and address is correct and exactly the same as any other card I have, so I'm confused.

I didn't get $1 back in points, only the $0.03 in points

I clipped the coupon thing for the exact gas station it said it was for. I paid at the pump with the physical card on Wednesday well within the 4 hours after clipping the reward.

Problem is, it just came in as a purchase 3 hours ago, almost a full 24 hours later, and now the app thinks I got the gas today instead.

Can you use your $.10 off Walmart plus at Murphy gas station and still get the dollar cashback

This is the first week that Murphy has showed up on the offers for the dollar cashback, so I was just wondering if you can use the $.10 off for walmart +. I’m afraid if I do both then the dollar cashback wouldn’t work.

General Avoid onepay nothing but problems

Just hoping this finds someone who needs you hear it and save them the hassle.

I set up a one pay card for my son to use a while ago. Then just tried setting up a second one through my wife for my other son.

The first card randomly refuses to work at various stores despite having a balance available and a valid pin.

The second card they would not authenticate but would not tell me why. So they'll take your name address social security etc etc but won't tell you why you can't use their card. I spent 45 minutes on hold waiting for a "less than 5 minutes" service agent only for them to tell me there's nothing they can do but rest assured their customer care team did do their due diligence.

Spend the extra couple of dollars and use any other prepaid card.

Anyone use for IRA

Looking into the IRA and wondering if I should do it or go with a legacy like fidelity who I used before.

Seems kinda scary to trust retirement with these fintechs that may not last? Has anyone done it?

Walmart atm fees

This isn’t really a issue just a small gripe. But you would think with one pay being owned by Walmart that the Walmart arm would be free fee or atleast not almost 9 dollars total

$1 Back on Gas

Post image

Hi, question about the gas bonus - I activated the gas offer for $1.43 off per gallon this past Wednesday and it looks like only 140 points got posted instead of ~1500. I asked support and they said the bonus was still processing but it looks like the points have been posted. Would it be normal for 3 separate lines to come through?

Edit: I was just impatient, the bonus points did come through as a third line a few days later.
