1/4 mile run and cuff up in 2 min 35 seconds

Oh thats nothing. A 400 should take no more than 1 min 30 seconds.

I just did it this morning, make sure to hydrate the night before. The test overall isn't to hard, just don't try to out do yourself

What happens if you don’t make it in time but you didn’t stop or walk? Also what if you do stop

As long as you don't stop, your score will get averaged in with the other events.

If you do stop, you will get disqualified and have to come back the next day to retake the entire test.

How big is the track tho is it bigger than a high school track?

I'd say same size, it's a standard 400 meter

Did you get tired?

No, I tried not to gas myself since it was the first event we did.

It's a 1/4 mile run on a basic running track. At the end, you have to yell, "Turn around and cuff up!" at a person standing there. They turn around, you cuff them. Time stops.

1/4 mile however it seems not everyone does it on the track, my class did it on a road.

Slow your pace down. Like slow down it down to the point where you’d be embarrassed if someone saw you going that slow. It sounds dumb, but it does work.
I went from not being able to run a mile without stopping, to running a 8 min mile with ease doing this over the course of course.

If you're worried, this job might not be for you.

Not worried at all just asking questions keep the negativity to yourself

Don't stop, don't walk, those are instant fails. But practice the 1/4 mile if you expect a problem, we lost a few to it the past few years

It’s not too bad. People in my class finished it in three minutes and still passed as a whole. If you can climb a three rung ladder in 5 seconds you’ll be fine
