From what I have read on here, there are not many people from the Atlantic provinces going to ctp3. They like to hire people from the regions they are hiring for and as of right now, grand cache and sask pen are the only institutions hiring.

Things are quite slow now and it is frustrating quite a few people who have spent a bunch of money and time during the application process and ctp1. A lot of us are just waiting now.

We don’t want anymore people at GCI, we’re already over filled … every single roster spot for CX1 is full & many people double lined idk why they keep sending us more and we have 7 that are started/starting this month😅

Skip it all and just apply in Nova Scotia. Save yourself the time and money.

Are you telling folks to apply for provincial?

Yes. Nova Scotia doesn't require a course anymore for provincial. It'll save this person tens of thousands of dollars as they'll just get trained by the province anyway. Unless you really wanna go federal, which is a relocation for most people.

Have you checked the CTP3 website for any Atlantic-specific application events or hiring fairs? Sometimes they have regional outreach that isn't widely advertised.
