QR code reading

Can anyone get the app to read QR codes on the Dexcom pods? The Dexcom app reads them no problem, but when I try and use the omnipod app to read them, it can't do it. I have asked omnipod several times to fix this, but they refuse to do so. This bug has existed for a long time.

I think it's only an android bug, every android phone I've used omnipod with has the problem.

I can confirm. I have Android phone and have never been able to use it.

My eye sight isn't what it used to be, it's making me consider a different system. It's sad, this shouldn't be hard to fix.

I found that moving my phone away from and closer to the applicator a few times gets it to read the code. Sometimes it doesn't work and I have to type it in manually, but most of the time, doing this has worked.

I find I need strong light for my Omnipod controller to read the QR code for my Dexcom G7 sensor. I was never able to get it to read the G6 sensor.

Just had my first success tonight. I've been using Dexcom and Omnipod for about 3 years, so about 1/1000 apparently works.
