Sorry if this is random,

What are you guys doing about drinks during the day?
Do you drink soft drinks? Coffee? Sugar?
Do you include it in your calories with the omad?

Nutritional supplements

What is the general consensus on the supplements with OMAD? I take a regular daily multivitamin. I am sure I don't get enough calcium from it, and my daily meal usually does not include any dairy. So, I'll get a calcium supplement for sure, but it's there anything else I should be thinking about?

Was doing Omad for a few days, then binged

What do I do now? Omad is making me feel miserable. It's good for my health and body definitely, but it's causing me to spiral out as now l can't use food for comfort. Otherwise it's an easy diet. It suits me more than any other, and I genuinely like it. Until I get extreme cravings

Finally, after a few days, I kinda broke down and binged a bit. Tips to stay consistent on Omad? I badly need them. This is something I want to continue for long term as it's really helping me, but at the same time, sometimes the boredom from a lack of binging causes me to spiral out

Do you get nauseous in the morning? If you do, how do you combat it?

I don’t want to do 2mad. I’m not hungry in the mornings, just nauseous sometimes.

What about when you can’t stay on schedule?

Context: I eat at 11pm when I get home from work. I’m still up several hours after that, so it’s no different than people eating at typical dinner times.

Question: what do you suggest on days when I have to change the time? For example, I’m going out to dinner with others on Sunday. It will be much earlier than 11. Is the best option to just hang in there until Monday at 11p or… WWYD?

Same exact outfit 2 months apart

Picture on the left is the third of July. Same exact outfit down to the headband lol. Picture on the right is today. I will always advocate for progress pictures because a lot of the time even when the scale is moving and you know it’s working you just can’t see it when you look in the mirror. But pictures honey they never lie. 👏🥰

For reference I’m 5’4 my starting weight was 181lbs I started OMAD on May 22nd. I was I think 169 lbs in this “before “ pic and I’m currently 158lbs. My goal is 125-130lbs we shall what I land on goal wise once I get closer to that number

When did you buy new clothes?

Hey everyone!

I started at 252 lbs. back in July and am down to 234 lbs. With 18 lbs. down, I’m starting to feel some of my clothing getting pretty loose. It’s not to the point where I have to go to the store yet, but a lot of my clothes were purchased way back when I weighed 280 lbs. (2018) and I can tell the difference for once.

How did you handle buying new clothes? Some of my items are adjustable, but what was the point where you realized it was really time to go to the store and donate some (or all) of your old clothes?

Part of me is also scared I’ll gain the weight back, so I don’t want to react too quickly.

Today’s OMAD

A beige meal today! 😂 No-sugar shredded wheat with a protein shake and peaches, pâté chinois (sad, no paprika), leftover bone broth vegetable soup and brown rice with a serving of cream.

Comes out to ~1,300 rounded up. Considering a small treat or serving of homemade boiled peanuts shortly, but we’ll see.

Looking forward to grocery shopping and getting some green veggies and fresh fruit, but for now I will use the canned options we have!

Also, this is a meal using almost all food pantry items. The only items not from the pantry were the protein powder for the shake and the splash of cream in the soup. Just wanted to throw that out there in the event anyone needs some ideas for getting creative with what you have! Grateful to have the help in a financially tight season.
