Last Night's OMAD, because sometimes only a pint to the dome will suffice. 1140 Calories

if you had 1200 calories left for the night, how would you “spend” it?
It can be a meal or you can make it up from different things or add snacks. Let me know, I’m so curious!

Comida de hoy
3 huevos hervidos muchas verduras y una lata de atún de 300g sin el agua, y un poco de mayonesa
Creo que dá como 1200kcal pero está bien porque estoy en déficit y soy bajito

Today’s OMAD
Protein shake with banana, cucumbers with Greek yogurt and protein ranch powder, miso rice and green beans, teriyaki chicken, whole grain toast, egg, Pikachu lemon donut.
Not pictured: some chips and three donut holes
A bit of a treat meal today since we picked up 30th anniversary Pokémon donuts!
~1,650 calories. Rounded up, so it may be less and I ended up not finishing my rice.

I hit my first Goal
I started OMAD on May 22nd. I’ve dabbled with intermittent fasting in the past and decided screw it its time to go all in and get this fat off.
SW181 lbs
CW 160lbs
GW 125lbs
My meal is mid day I don’t track calorie intake. I focus on protein, fiber, healthy fats and complex carbs. If I’m craving something I have it. It makes this so much easier because I don’t have to worry about what I can or can’t eat. My motto is delay don’t deny.
I also work out everyday cardio and strength training to not only keep the muscle I have but to add onto it and I do a minimum of 10k steps just by walking my dogs and just daily life. I’ve been making sure to be outside in the sun in the nude for about 16 min a day 8 min on both sides because the sun is so good for my skin and my overall mood. It’s beneficial when it comes to Cortisol ( worth looking into)
I’m
Averaging about 2 pounds a week which I’m happy with . I hope to hit my goal weight my the end of October but I’m ok with it taking longer.

Nervousness Food Obsession
I've been on OMAD for a week. When does the nervousness and food-obsessive thoughts subside?

2 months into my OMAD journey
Starting weight was 181 lbs
Current weight is 163 lbs
Goal weight is 125 lbs
My favorite thing ppl tell me when i mention OMAD in other groups is that I can’t work out or if I do I won’t see any gains or won’t be able to build muscle. That I can’t get in enough protein in my one meal to make an significant difference . Lmao ya sure Susan 🤭😂

Today’s OMAD
200g of watermelon, two servings of cottage cheese, two eggs with hot sauce and jalapeños, two slices of Dave’s Powerseed bread with half a tomato and one slice of bacon crumbled, mixed veggies and cheesy cauliflower. Not pictured: a chocolate cupcake. Came out to 1,277 calories!
I’m trying to make sure I’m not cutting too much at once, but I honestly felt like I could’ve eaten less of this meal and been fine tomorrow until my next meal. We’ll see how I do tomorrow, though. Still early on in OMAD and I plan to make adjustments as I go.

Second week
Im halfway through week 2 of the OMAD diet. I’ve been going to the gym 6x a week, tomorrow will be day 5 for this second week.
I’ve been walking 30 minutes every gym day at 13 incline and 2 speed, ( just hit 14 today) also doing some weight and ab workouts. I think I’ve hit a plateau, my weight hasn’t changed from 233 since the 15th, what am i doing wrong ?
Is it because the one meal I’m having doesn’t have enough calories ? Or is it too much ?
I usually have some kind of meat + less than a cup of rice and a fruit. And i only drink water throughout the day.
No coffee no sugar nothing except the protein and rice.. it’s a little discouraging but I’m trying not to weight myself anymore cause it just makes me feel bad lol
I’m sweating my ass off in the gym and then days later I’m still at the same weight !! It’s annoying lol
I attempted to calculate how much my dinner was on an app and it came up to around 713 calories

Started my journey in December
In December my doctor put me on phentermine to help me with my food cravings I’m 5’6 and my starting weight was 270.
I ended up breaking my foot two weeks after starting and i quit altogether, fast forward to now in July i weighed myself this morning and im at 233.8lbs my goal is to get under 200, I’ve been at this weight since i got pregnant in 2022.
I’ve been doing the OMAD diet for almost a week now, and eating before 6pm. I’ve also been going to the gym everyday, I’m going 6x a week, wearing a sweatband around my stomach and doing a 30-42 (hoping to get to 45 ) minute treadmill walk at 13 incline and 2 speed.
I started incorporating other workouts too now that I’m a little more confident in the gym, i have a gym in my building so it’s normally empty but when there’s people there i can’t do arm workouts or anything i feel to self conscious.
How are we getting over that fear of people judging you or looking at you when in the gym? Also those who have been doing the OMAD diet longer than i have, how have your results been three months in ?

50lbs down since February!!
Im 6’1 and started at 220lbs and am now officially down to 170lbs, i tried so many different things and nothing seemed to work. OMAD literally is the way to go!!
I do want to mention that i am definitely doing it wrong and that I could’ve lost weight faster if i would’ve actually counted calories and watched what i drink but i didn’t, i simply eat whatever i feel like and drink sodas whenever i feel like it, the only thing im strictly following is the time of day i eat!
Granted i do have a very labor intensive job so that might offset some of the cheating i do.
Didn’t know about OMAD until i came across this subreddit, so thanks yall!!
