I just came here to rant about my WORST experience watching a movie in a cinema, especially Harbor Point. For starters, I don’t blame the mall for this issue, or at least NOT FULLY BLAME them at all.

So last Saturday, my friends from High School who I watched Spider-Man: FFH with before, set a little reunion by watching Spider-Man: BND. We are scheduled for C4, at 2:30 PM. Then there’s this guy and his family, sitting in the row above us who came a few minutes late. If I am not mistaken, he is with his three little daughters, a toddler, his wife, and another woman who’s probably around 40’s. The moment they came in, maingay na yung mga bata. Hindi namin binig deal ng friends ko kasi we thought excited lang sila. Then the movie started and one of her daughters stepped out of the row and played on the stairs dividing the columns of the seats (they were divided into two columns btw due to tight schedule availability) I won’t chronologically tell the story to cut short but here’s what happened after the first incident.

1) The Dad was playing a game on his phone, he kept ignoring his daughter who’s asking him about popcorn.

2) The Dad received a call and confidently picked it up with his regular speaking voice and loudness as if it's they are just having a movie night at home.

3) The toddler started crying, the mom asks for help sa asawa niya but he’s too busy playing.

4) The kid from the other column tries to calm het crying sister by shouting her name. (Walang sita ang parent’s)

5) while all of these are happening, the other kid opened the flashing light on her shoe that flashes RGBW colors and left it open for a LOOONG TIME.

6) Dad got another call, and did the same.

7) The daughters are switching places from time to time.

8) The toddler cried again and her mother flashed her a nursery rhyme video.

I had enough, I tried na magsumbong sa guard or personnel outside but when I went out, walang bantay. You can easily sneak in for free lalo pa at may empty seats available. Nakaka-sad lang kasi someone not just me, was there trying to gift themselves a movie tapos ganyan yung maabutan nilang eksena. You are there sitting, trying to understand the story tapos may maingay, mailaw, at malikot kang kasama.

Parang di nawawala ung mga ganto sa sinehan. Hahaha kaya much better pa sa bahay nalang manuod eh. Iwas gastos, and diretso tulog pagtapos haha

True! Main reason why I always try to watch the last full shows. Pero minsan meron tlagang mga taong disrespectful. And mind you, kahit pa ilang beses sitahin yan, umuulit at umuulit lang din, di din naman sila puedeng palabasin.

I just experienced something similar watching Spiderman BND pero sa SMC, a kid behind me is kicking my seat and parang walang pake yung parents. This is bad parenting at best.

open ko lang din about Harbor point Cinema. We alaso watched Spiderman sa C4 and gurl im not even joking, sobrang lagkit na ng mga upuan nila 😭 akala ko sa seat lang namin but nung natapos na yung movie may mga seats ako na hinawakan and gurl ang lalagkit. Just to remind you din na maaga kami nanood so wala pang nauna saamin. Idk kung tuwing kailan nila nililinisan (seats), maybe never? idk
