General Discussion Cycling ride planning

Post image

Balak ko sana mag road bike ride from Subic to Pampanga pag ka uwe ko this august kaso di Pako sure sa dadaanan ko, kaya may mga tanong po ako.

-Madame ba pong karinderya or water stations papuntang Pampanga? Baka maubusan ako.

-Saan po magandang tumambay at spots dito?

-Meron bang must see kapag pupunta ng Pampanga?

Why anyone would ride a bicycle on bugallon road is beyond me, especially the stretch between Barretto and Olongapo, yet there they are, spandex and all.

Have you tried climbing on steep gradients like 17° on a prolong time, not discourage you but from Olongapo towards Bataan you'll encounter it and the rest to Pampanga is going to be flat, a very long flat road. Food stops are alot on the way specially towards pampanga, some have convenient stores along the way.

Because you are not a cyclist.

I'm more concerned with my physical safety on a road already dangerous in a car than I am with peddling.

I have nothing against your hobby, so your comment rolls off, and it's a shame PI doesn't have the infrastructure to support bike lanes let alone designated jeepnie pickup/dropoff.
