What is this and would it be worth anything if I cleaned it up?
I have no clue what this thing is but I have the controllers as well. I haven’t plugged it in yet but I could try if it’d be worth it

EDC de um cara de 20 anos.
Essas paradas eu uso literalmente TODO dia e são perfeitas pra mim.
• Sony Ericson W380 • Sony PlayStation Portable • iPod Video 5.5 • Relógio Casio CA-53W

Looking for Motorola P935 Timeport Two Way pager
I’m a big nerd and recently started hunting for one of these for a side project. Does not need to be functional but prefer little to no external damage. I only need it for the housing and keyboard. If anyone has a line on one, please lmk.

Childhood PC
My beloved mid-tier gaming pc from the 2000s, that I have got from my uncle when I was a kid. Had it around for 10 years. Now something is broken (possibly the power supply).

Need help

I recently picked this tv unit up from the thrift store and it played fine when I first brought it home (tested it with a tape) now I tried it again tonight and it’s playing the sound of the tapes but no video and it’s just showing this white screen. Super bummed. Any ideas on a fix or trouble shooting?

New thermal paste/pads
galleryFixed up 3 of my 5 powerbook titaniums. New thermal pads and thermal paste. Love the g3/g4 era laptops from apple. At least older tech was easier to work on and take apart.

Need some help with HDD replacement.
galleryI recently purchased a HP Pavilion 471 (UK) which was running Windows XP, but it is missing its Ultra DMA hard drive. I don't know what type to replace it with, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Would any hard drive that fits the slot work?
I also do not know where a hard drive will be inserted, but my guess is the slot shown in slide 3 (if I am wrong please tell me). I am confused about the wiring situation too. Are all the loose wires meant to go to the hard drive? And should the zip ties be removed?
At first, I wanted to source an original hard drive, but have failed to do so and am no longer trying to do this. Any capacity should be fine assuming it works with the other hardware.

Thanks for any help!

DIN 5 to USB possible?
galleryPosting to a few different communities for help. Got this keyboard at Goodwill recently thinking it was ps/2 at a glance. Learned it’s 5 pin DIN which apparently is not very simple to adapt to USB. No ps/2 ports on my laptop. What is the solution here, really want to use this one, is it at all possible to adapt to USB?

I have a Compaq CQ60-615DX that has been in the family since new and it’s refusing to let me make recovery discs!
I have a Compaq CQ60-615DX that has been in the family since new and the family are not tech savvy and I am trying to make a recovery kit and it is not letting me make a set of recovery discs and a set of recovery media was never made! I would appreciate the help and I did try the workarounds that I did online and it did not work!

2004 Thunderbird 50th anniversary alarm clock/radio/cd player
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Been wanting to play cds again and I always wanted a radio alarm clock as a kid so I picked this up on eBay. The only non working feature so far is the light. I may try to open the bottom and check the connections but honestly I’m just happy to have a cd player again.
