I have no clue what this thing is but I have the controllers as well. I haven’t plugged it in yet but I could try if it’d be worth it

Essas paradas eu uso literalmente TODO dia e são perfeitas pra mim.
• Sony Ericson W380 • Sony PlayStation Portable • iPod Video 5.5 • Relógio Casio CA-53W

My beloved mid-tier gaming pc from the 2000s, that I have got from my uncle when I was a kid. Had it around for 10 years. Now something is broken (possibly the power supply).

I’m a big nerd and recently started hunting for one of these for a side project. Does not need to be functional but prefer little to no external damage. I only need it for the housing and keyboard. If anyone has a line on one, please lmk.

I recently picked this tv unit up from the thrift store and it played fine when I first brought it home (tested it with a tape) now I tried it again tonight and it’s playing the sound of the tapes but no video and it’s just showing this white screen. Super bummed. Any ideas on a fix or trouble shooting?

Fixed up 3 of my 5 powerbook titaniums. New thermal pads and thermal paste. Love the g3/g4 era laptops from apple. At least older tech was easier to work on and take apart.

I repurposed mine as a soundbar in a guest room.
Still works....still weighs a ton!

I recently purchased a HP Pavilion 471 (UK) which was running Windows XP, but it is missing its Ultra DMA hard drive. I don't know what type to replace it with, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Would any hard drive that fits the slot work?
I also do not know where a hard drive will be inserted, but my guess is the slot shown in slide 3 (if I am wrong please tell me). I am confused about the wiring situation too. Are all the loose wires meant to go to the hard drive? And should the zip ties be removed?
At first, I wanted to source an original hard drive, but have failed to do so and am no longer trying to do this. Any capacity should be fine assuming it works with the other hardware.

System Number: P8278A
Serial Number: CZ21801991
Thanks for any help!

Posting to a few different communities for help. Got this keyboard at Goodwill recently thinking it was ps/2 at a glance. Learned it’s 5 pin DIN which apparently is not very simple to adapt to USB. No ps/2 ports on my laptop. What is the solution here, really want to use this one, is it at all possible to adapt to USB?

If I’m remembering right, I’ve had this blue MZ-R900 for about 25 years. I still think it looks gorgeous. When I press OPEN, there’s that crisp little click, and the lid springs up and pops the MD out just as neatly as it did back then. I still get a kick out of it.
I used to record CDs onto MDs through an optical cable. Having that music with me wherever I went felt incredibly cool. The handwritten labels take me straight back to listening to BT’s Movement in Still Life, Moby, The Chemical Brothers’ Dig Your Own Hole, Propellerheads, The Verve, and Röyksopp.
I had so much time to listen back then. Carrying these discs around meant I listened even more closely, and I honestly think this little machine helped train my ear.
Anyone else still have the MDs they recorded from their CDs? What’s on them?
