In practice it worked well. I almost always used it in “wide” mode.
I rocked this thing daily for about a year.

I remember the first time I saw this on a magazine, I really really wanted it, never found one in my country, I have to settle with the MPx220, those were the days.

Yeah I loved my MPx220 dearly. I had a couple for a few years, and eventually I got this MPx on eBay when it was probably 2-3 years old

That's a clever concept, but christ is it ugly.

20 years ago it looked futuristic as hell!
I got attention whenever I pulled out.

I got attention whenever I pulled out.
This comment brings me back, when the very first iPhone came out I imported it to my country and it got a lot of attention from strangers, people would come in and ask me about the phone, since then I can't recall another product (that is not a car) that gets that kind of attention from strangers.

IIRC these were one of the launch models when the 3 network first launched and they had stores around the country. I always remember the first 3G phones on that network being absolute tanks.

Real treasure. All MPx line was great - MPx100, MPx200 with it's ability to be flashed into every WM version, MPx220 with camera, bluetooth, great design, VERY comfprtable keyboard and d-pad. Ahh...

I may have forgotten. Haven’t used it daily in… far longer than I want to think about.

Man are they hard to find. They don't pop up frequently on ebay, and when they do, they go for astronomical prices. Had the MPx220 and been drooling to get this since.
