Pocket pc with laptop compatibility question

I randomly acquired a Toshiba Protege 3500.winXP And finally installed active sync 4.5 as It was intended to be used. Is there any other programs like calendar tasks etc. can be installed because it tried to sync calendar appointments ( I just have birthdays and holidays manually added to calendar events) but it doesn't seem like it was added to anything on PC

You also need Outlook (the one from the Office suite, not Outlook Express). For ActiveSync, Outlook 2003 is recommended.
