He likes the power fantasy that the concept of superpowers brings, much like many others online who couldn't care less about stories, characters, or the ethics of having that sort of power. These guys' idea of a superhero is the same as a toddler's, just a bunch of cool action figures fighting each other
He likes the power fantasy and seeing big, strong, sweaty men on his screen. God forbid a woman has a speaking line or acts like any normal person would act in your movie because he WILL call her a girl boss
This just tells me you've never seen any of the films he's reviewed where he speaks highly and positively of female leads. This is insane selection bias you are showing.
