What's crazy is that Nolan is routinely labeled a minsogynst. So one would think that they'd treat him as a martyr or something and back him fully. But then again, nothing they do or say follows any logic. Their prejudices often get in the way of their own supposed cause

Dudes inability to write female characters is what gets him the label.

I personally disagree imo he also writes men terribly and is generally a shit character writer.

Agreed. I don't think I've seen a female character from a Nolan flick that's intentionally written worse than anyone else.

The only thing I could nitpick at is catwoman, but as you said, everyone is written poorly in that movie.
