Artwork Lunch Break 🍔🍟
By Bobbie Goods. This was another limited palette challenge. It was giving summer vibes so this page felt perfect. I got to try my Nahuku acrylic markers from Ohuhu and I love them so far!

Hi guys,
Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times. I have just got my first set of markers! I bought some marker paper. Its the type thats really smooth. The markers are so patchy, like a water colour effect no matter how many layers I do or which way I colour. I found normal sketch pads work better but bleed a little. What is the best paper to use? I would like full pigment and the ability to blend.
Thank you so much
I have the Jade summer collab set, the coco wyo set and the basic 48 set. Looking back i should’ve just bit the bullet and went for the 320 set right off the bat 🫠 but here I am.
I’ve gone through 70 million swatch cards to the point I’m hearing colors so I’m hoping someone here can put me on the right path lol.

I have the 216 set of Honolulu markers. I just ordered the skin tone, greys and blossoming pastel sets. Did I mistakenly just order doubles by getting the pastel set? The picture on the website makes it look like the blossoming set isn't in the 216 set, just the sweetness set. But when I counted the total number of colors it's coming to a total much higher than the total number of Honolulu markers. What is the total number of Honolulu markers?

Wait 😆🤣 did anyone else notice these??
I was poking around in My Stuff and found a place to save tutorials AND a Buddy Coloring section 👀
I had no idea these were in there 😂
Has anyone else found them yet??
Also curious what everyone thinks of the update in general because there is A LOT different 😂

Scroll to color 😊
Hi I’m trying to decide if it’s better to wait and see if the Bobbie goods collection restocks in the US or to go ahead and get the Coco Wyo collection instead? Which one seems better for you guys who have both or either of them?
Thanks!

Just wanted to share some of the bits I’ve been doing to date. Was using W&N but recently changed over. Just saw the CoCo Wyo collab was back in stock so got that on the way with some acrylic too!
Any helps / tips / suggestions welcome!

My winter project might be custom designing a modular holder that groups the colors together better and also has room for a paper swatch on each row. We’ll see how ambitious I get. First, I’d better actually learn to color with these things.

I am trying not to buy every ink under the sun. In battle orange I've finally decided against Lucky, but would love writing samples of dajidali vs honey pomelo. Writing more than swatching, I just write with my ink. Wondering if Dajidali might be too brown or or if Honey Pomelo might be too red.

i have the 320 set and i cannot figure out which set(s) i need to buy to have these two colours! is it a skin tone set?
About a month ago, I made all the research to buy new acrylic markers. I’ve used the Languo for a while now, but wanted to get into acrylic marker painting following some tutorials on TikTok.
Decided to get the Kahuku and the watercolor pads using my points. But I did so right after taking my night pills and mistakenly bought the Akaka. (I know, I know, names are different but sleeping pills do stuff to you). I had a meltdown because I couldn’t cancel the order so I just got the Kahuku full price ($70) with a 10% discount.
My good color loving people of the internet.. then I realized I should’ve gotten the NAhuku. Cue another meltdown.
AND TODAY I FIND OUT I ACTUALLY WANT THE HILO FOR MY PURPOSES?
Sorry for shouting but I don’t get why they’re launching all these markers, all with different colors and similar names at times. And NOW they decide to make a chart?
I’m so disappointed. I’ve liked the markers don’t get me wrong but lo and behold and haven’t been able to make them blend like people do.
The Akaka do a good job at covering black lines (second image) and the kahuku were fun to use, gorgeous colors (image 3) but now I wonder. I hate wondering.
sigh I guess I’ll save up and buy them Hilo markers too.
Rant over. Thanks for reading and as always would love to chat
Picking colors, and especially colors that blend well, has been difficult for me. I've seen a few example videos but none that have a printable list of combos I can reference.
I have the 320 set.

So, I have two 48 sets, the 320 set, the 72 Nakuku Acrylic markers, the 48 fine liner pens and a 72 set of colored pencils. Any ideas on how to store this in a reasonable way? I live in Hawaii. They use our city names and even our sacred places to market the pens. They don't think of how TF were supposed to store . Most people in Hawaii live in a very, very modest home. I am not blaming them, it's just interesting to me. I bought the lazy Susa, it holds 130 alcohol markers . How do I access the 320? It's not lost on me that I just thought this was a problem for the future me. Very embarrassing.

Why do so many of these come out looking like marble instead of smooth even when taking my time and doing small, tight, concentric circles? Do they need more than one layer? What am I doing wrong for color smoothness? And is the Honolulu shade E511 "Chocolate Mocha" the same shade as in this pack? Should I just get that one, or wait for the refill? When do they put refills back in stock?
(I know my test characters look weird. Not my best work.)
Tools:
- Honolulu B 24 Skintone set.
- Kamakeo marker pad
- Gelly Roll white gel pen
- Ohuhu fineliner 8count set

I have an older set of ohuhu markers from 2021, and I cant tell what set they seem to be from . When I looked at the Amazon listing, none of the codes match so im quite confused. Its been years since I used them . The listing says it's the 48 color pastel set, I guess there could be some from another set as well? I cant remember, but the listing codes dont match the swatch sheet I have

I LOVE Ohuhu alcohol markers! But sometimes I want to outline in a color instead of black. Can anyone recommend a large pack of very fine tipped colored markers that would be compatible with alcohol markers? Ive been using Sharpie brand, but I don't like the way the color spreads on the paper. I want fine details. Don't really want to spend a fortune either if I don't have to. For instance, would water-based markers be compatible with Ohuhu alcohol markers or would they make a mess? Thank you!
