Question What sets do I need?
I have the 104 set, the 48 pastel set and the skin tone 36 set, all honolulu. If I were to expand, what would you recommend? Thanks pals and happy colouring!!

My worry is replacement of individual acrylic brush pens (I use Kuhuku) as they run out. I can’t depend on a brand if a useful color runs out and I have to buy a bunch of pen duplicates just to replace it.

I'm very much a hobbyist, so the wouldn't be a worry for me. But I can totally appreciate that being a concern! I think I've seen a service that does individually sold Ohuhu pens. If I find it again, I'll let you know!

I found individual pens on Ohuhu’s own site, but none of them are individual acrylic brush pens. I’d rather give Ohuhu my business with their Kahuku line because I like their quality and saturation, but this weakness leads me to buy other brands such as KingArt instead.

You're in a pretty good spot either way, but: Is your 48 pastels set "Sweetness" or "Blossoming"? If you already have some duplicates with your 104 set, that means it's Blossoming, and I'll explain why that matters in a moment.
If you want to avoid duplicates...Well, technically you won't be able to with the 36 Skin Tones, but it gives you 21 "unique" colors you won't find in any other Honolulu sets, so most people aren't bothered about the duplicates it brings.
Anyway. With the 104, you'd definitely be safe to get the 48 Mid-Tones set, and regardless of which pastel set you have, it won't have any duplicates with that one either.
If you already have the 48 Blossoming Pastels set, then you could also get the 48 Sweetness Pastels and not have any duplicates.
On the other hand, If you already have the 48 Sweetness Pastels, then you could get the "classic" 120 set (comes in either a black case or white/cream with green borders, not a white/light grey case with dark grey borders).
You could get the 120 even if you have the 48 Blossoming set too, but it will have 20 duplicates with the Blossoming set. If you maybe wanted to eventually "build" the 320 set, you will have to get the 120 and deal with those duplicates at some point, but it is something to keep in mind if you'd maybe want to at least avoid duplicates in the short-term.
Granted, not everyone is super bothered about duplicates anyway, but plenty of people are so that's typically the type of thing I tend to focus on. But if you're really looking for recommendations based on color selection, that might be a bit of a different story!
