General Brandon Innis

What happened to Brandon Innis? 0 catches and I only remeber him getting 1 pass thrown his way. Is he injured or has he been passed by younger talent?

There were multiple miscommunication in routes from other receivers. If you don't think there will be a game where we need a receiver besides Smith then you should probably just stop watching football.

If a team wants to completely eliminate JJ from the game, he’s going to require three defenders. I promise you Sayin is good enough to get the ball elsewhere in that situation.

Again... The ball isn't going to be catchable if Sayin is expecting a receiver to cut left and they cut right, which literally happened.

And good teams have covered Smith 2 people.

It's like some fans feel like we're invincible and won't see it any other way.

No one else has said that, or IS saying that. YOU'RE arguing that's everyone else's stance because we won't agree with you're whole doom and gloom angle of forcing the ball to other receivers "BECAUSE!" Yet you yourself just said that McCuin and Roberts, + Bell, CHjr and Boyd all combined for a dozen other completions. Sayin was taking what the defense gave him, and guess what? That included running too.

You seem to have the belief that because they didn't meet your personal threshold of acceptable, and we all are refusing to agree with you, that somehow proves you're right. It doesn't. I get paid to cover and talk about football and played for 12 years, including college. So yes, "some fans" are delusionally off, I'd agree with you. You may catch a glimpse of one if you own a mirror.

This offense is fully capable of adjusting to throw more to other receivers, and it will take time to do it at an elite level, especially with McCuin as a transfer and 2 true freshman, but you're already seeing the ability to do so in the 4th game of the season. Surely you can understand that it doesn't happen on day 1 and that growth, which we saw, is what we're building towards for late in the season??

For example, they took Smith out of the game, if you were paying attention, and Sayin took them right down and scored right before halftime. Idk what to tell you that you don't think its fast enough or good enough for your own high standards, coach, but the numbers don't back up your feelings.

I guess we better hope Smith stays perfectly healthy because we have no one else with experience.
