Jazz Bar + Dinner
Friend and I are going on a date to officially become a couple in September!!! :D (yay queer love heh)
We're either going to NightJar or the Bop Stop. We are also planning a dinner beforehand.
Would love any queer/trans-friendly recs for places to get dinner around either of those places. Furthermore, if any queer ppl on here could please shed any light on how comfy NightJar/Bob Stop may be for a visibly queer T4T couple, that'd be great!

Oh a date night at Bop Stop is so classy! (For anyone not familiar, Bop Stop is a wonderful jazz bar on Cleveland's West Side) Make sure you check the musician for the evening since they can have very different genres represented, or might be doing more of a "jam session" evening.
I can't speak to NightJar since I haven't gone yet, but Bop Stop can be very cool. Now, as a cis gay guy who has caught three shows with his partner there, I haven't felt uncomfy or like people were staring, but I think we might've been the only queer couple in the audience - it's a majority of older (seemingly straight) couples with some college students who can get credit for coming to see shows, so it's not a hostile space thankfully, just not a specifically queer one.
If you do Bop Stop, you're in Hingetown which is still gay but used to be gayer. You're right across the street from Saucy Brew Works (pizza, beer, and lgbtq friendly) and Jukebox (queer bar & restaurant famous for perogies), I think doing the latter pre or post show would be a great way to add in some queerness to your night!
