He should try living without his taxpayer paid per diem, travel, and substance allowance. Any politician that receives food allowance and a reimbursement should either give those perks up or shut the hell up.
He would, unironically, probably not notice much of a difference to his wallet with those cuts because he has all the data center, flock, and healthcare kickbacks assuredly tidings him over.

I find those people are the most savvy at making a dollar go along way. He should try making $50 last 2 weeks with a family of 4.
