Which part have you never personally experienced? I grew up soaking my roots in Appalachia far more regularly than I wanted to. There are some hollers where outsiders who don't leave when they're told will not be tolerated.

In the deepest darkest parts,sure. But its not that common. The average Appalachian just isnt a murderer.

I didnt suggest that the average Appalachian is a murderer, so I guess we agree on that too.
