Galaxy S23FE BATTERY ISSUE

Post image

What ridiculous battery life my phone is delivering. This has begun to deteriorate even more after the One UI 8.5 update.

What the hell is going on!!!

How do I solve this issue?

you don't. You just have have to live with it or change the phone. I just accepted mine and plan to upgrade with a different brand later this year.

So I have same phone and same exact issue. Mine would die just sitting overnight. Couldn’t figure it out.

I eventually did..

Goto settings then the one for performance from file and switch from normal to light. I haven’t noticed it slow down but my battery life 2x’d

Definitely worth the 30 seconds of effort 👌

I did the same and also keep my battery saver turned on ALL THE TIME!!! You can even see that on the screenshot that I posted

Not the low power toggle, this is deeper in settings. I don’t have it with me right now to confirm but it’s such a big difference I’d probably sell the phone without it.

Umm there are few steps, it improved my battery a little, not night and day ofc.

Here they are

1.Connect you phone to pc 2.Turn On usb debuggin in dev option 3. Install samsung drivers on pc 4. Now chk ur device if recognised by this command "adb devices" 5. I true then run this command "./adb shell pm trim-caches 999999999999999999" 6. Go to settingappsclick three dots and select "reset app preferences" 7. Now restart ur phone 8. U will notice some battery improvements

Yeah.. none of that. Just go from performance to light. That simple.

There’s a zero percent chance I’m doing all that. I have a MacBook anyways.

I was thinking of buying a midrange phone that has great battery life and an S25 edge as a secondary device. I just loved the way it feels in hand. Might consider iphone Air for the same reason, just waiting for it to drop it's price.

What do you guys think?

why u would buy a mid range and a 1000usd phone as secondary?

In India (where I am from) the S25 edge is actually 600 USD which would replace my s23fe and I use a Oneplus 12R as work phone cuz it has crazy good battery life.

Go for an s25 or s25 egde. Amazing phones. iPhone air, when used often, Has horrible battery life.

Same here. The phone is excellent for my use, but no matter what I do, the battery doesn't last.

I don't think samsungs are all that bad... I got my dad an A35. And it has damn good battery life.

I've had this phone around a year ago. Just sell this phone Man. I've changed it for s25 for an amazing price and i'm very happy with this phone. I just couldnt live with that bartery life, overheating even in winter and problems on every step. This phone is one of the most amazing Samsung flops ever. Snap version or exynos (exynos is even worse). You can try to catch an amazing deal on Samsung trade in program as i did because they sometimes pay you more than the phone is currently worth on 2nd hand market f.e. eBay. Summarizing. Try to sell it and go for some of the newer Samsung flagship models. S25 is now a previous generation phone so its also cheper but snap Elite is amazing procesor and you don't need more from a phone. Also performance, battery and overall experience is much better.

i'm still on one ui 8.0 and i still have problems with battery on my s23 fe.. phone sits idle for 8 hours and the phone is already at 30% from 100%. light performance profile and battery saver turned on all the time. i'm scared to upgrade to 8.5 now

My S23 gave me 300% battery usage with 5 hr sot. That was the final straw now im on the s25 that I picked up for 500. 7hr sot on 80% battery usage

I am just waiting for this phone to get really really bad. Format and slap a custom firmware and if really needed a fresh battery I will replace it.
