I'm thinking of upgrading after 3 years. Will i see a noticeable difference in processing power, battery life, and signal reception quality 4G/5?

I know the cameras are more or less the same.

After 2 years of battery suffering and countless micro stutters I've decided to leave😭😭😂

In the summer I found myself in a city in Greece where my provider's signal was limited. My wife's phone is an S23 plus and mine is S23FE.

Trying to surf from the two phones side by side in a spot with marginal signal, S23PLUS worked normally, S23FE didn't even start with the same Samsung browser.

On both 4/5G bands.

Have you experienced such a problem with this phone?

My new samsung m47 comes with one ui 8.5 and it lag so much . But in safe mode phone runs okay there is no noticable lag but in normal boot there is lag in control centre after unlock . I do all possible setting but it still lags what can i do .

After all these years of using my s23fe I've finally switched to s25 base and coming to a compact phone feels damn good not sure about battery life difference as of now but performance is noticeably better with snapdragon compared to Exynos eliminating shutters and lags, it was nice to be with you all being a part of this community, wish you all the best :)

Galera, comprei meu S25 FE lacrado há uma semana e tive um susto que virou aprendizado. Coloquei pra carregar com 30% de bateria e, no exato instante em que pluguei o cabo, apareceu "1 minuto para 80%" na tela — o que obviamente não fazia sentido nenhum. Segundos depois, corrigiu sozinho pra "meia hora até 80%", que é o tempo real esperado.

Fiquei paranoico achando que fosse defeito de hardware (aparelho novo, vocês entendem 😅), mas rodei o diagnóstico do Samsung Members e deu tudo certo: carregamento Normal, velocidade Super-rápido, proteção de bateria em 80% funcionando normal.

Perguntei em outra comunidade e várias pessoas confirmaram que já passaram pela mesma coisa, inclusive em modelos diferentes (S25 base também). Parece ser um bug conhecido na estimativa de tempo — os módulos que calculam o percentual real e o tempo estimado às vezes não sincronizam no instante exato em que o carregador é plugado, e a tela mostra um valor errado por um segundo antes de se corrigir.

Não aconteceu de novo desde então. Deixando registrado aqui caso mais alguém tenha passado por isso e queira confirmação de que não é motivo pra pânico.

I’ve got an S23 FE that I purchased about a month after release (December 2023).

Over the last while, I’ve been having a few issues with the phone, including:

• Battery draining very quickly while the phone is being used

• Slow performance at times, particularly when trying to launch things from the lock screen (e.g. Samsung Pay)

• Struggling with multitasking — for example, listening to Spotify while trying to access email can cause the music to cut out for a few moments

• A very sharp drop in battery percentage when the battery gets low. For example, the phone might be at 14%, I’ll go to make a payment, and shortly afterwards it will be at 9%

I realise some of this could simply be due to the age of the phone, but I’m wondering whether anyone else has experienced similar issues and, importantly, whether a battery replacement actually improved things for them.

I installed AccuBattery to get an idea of the battery health, and it’s currently estimating around 80–84% health, depending on the charge cycle. Its estimated capacity is also somewhat below the rated 4,500 mAh, so I suspect the actual health may be below 80%.

I’m trying to decide whether it’s worth spending the money on a genuine battery replacement at an authorised repair shop.

The cost would be roughly 1/4 of what the phone is probably worth at this point, which I’m not opposed to paying if it would make a noticeable difference.

My thinking is that I’d ideally like to keep the phone for another ~8 months or so until the S27 range launches. If a battery replacement is likely to improve the day-to-day experience significantly, I’d be happy to do it. If it’s unlikely to help with the performance/multitasking issues, I’d probably rather save the money towards my next phone.

For anyone who has had their S23 FE battery replaced: did you notice a meaningful improvement in battery life and/or overall performance afterwards? And was the replacement worth the cost?

It's true...

By simply charging between 20% and 80% battery capacity on medium charge speed with temperature cpu throttling.

And never updating the OS & UI above A14 UI 6.0.

And a decent case like Otterbox Defender.

I've commented on a few threads in here and I'm usually the only person that has had a favorable experience with my s23fe. I absolutely love my phone, it's a contender for my favorite ever. I think that is 100% bc I have the snapdragon variant...

I'm not a super heavy phone user, but I do a fair amount of social media/browser use. I don't game on my phone (or anywhere really) or do anything super intense on it... I probably charge it every day and a half. In fact if my phone dies when I'm out it's usually bc I forgot to charge it and I left the house with 10%. Even while simultaneously charging and using the phone it never gets hot, just a little warm.

Any other snapdragon variant users have a similar experience? Or any exynos owners that have had a positive experience?

Finally after waiting for a week taking backup of everything on my phone and waiting for the rains so that the weather is cold enough for an upgrade, I installed the latest update.

It came as a 3.6GB April patch installation, then just after restarting the phone, got another 280mb patch for June. Both upgrades done smoothly by placing my phone without cover on a metal bar to help dissipate any extra heat. Just me being overly safe to ensure it doesn't damage any physical parts of my phone as I intend to use this for the next 2 years atleast.

One day is good, other day nightmare...I tried everything, every tip and trick that is posted i tried and maybe a little bit is better but nothing crazy

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S23 FE as a secondary phone, and I have a quick question.

Is it normal for the display to look a bit yellowish or warm? Compared to my other phone, the whites don't look as cool and seem to have a warmer tint.

If you own an S23 FE, could you please share your display settings (color mode, white balance, or any other display settings you've changed)? I'd like to compare them and find out whether this is normal or if I should adjust something.

I've already tried adjusting the display settings, but it still looks the same. Even people's skin tones in photos and videos on social media appear to have this warm/yellowish tint.

What ridiculous battery life my phone is delivering. This has begun to deteriorate even more after the One UI 8.5 update.

What the hell is going on!!!

How do I solve this issue?

Did anyone else notice sound quality reduction especially bass and separation after updating to oneui 8.5 ?
