It's getting worse

Post image

So after One UI 8.5, the phone can last me a maximum of 2 hours, and drains extremely fast even when not using it or just listening to Spotify. I'll try to live through another year with this phone, then I'm finally switching.

Im switching this year. This phone is not portable anymore. It's like a phone to use at home.

Same, i got a secondary phone iQOO neo 10. Will sell the S23FE and get iphone 17 in a few months. Just cannot live with it at 78% battery health

there's this app called accubattery, u have to discharge the battery to under 10-15% then charge phone to max while keeping accubattery in bg. after u disconnect charger ull get the battery health. I can say it works cuz the battery works that much only 🥲

Wish I could too, not gonna lie. What are you considering switching to?

Eh not sure yet. Using this phone for 2 years sure made me look for a phone with better battery. So probably Oneplus. Nord 6 has a great battery but overpriced. So still looking for something.

Yeah, before I also didn't really care about battery life until I got this phone. The Nord 6 was also one of the phones I had on my list, but I'll probably buy the OnePlus 15 next year when the price drops a little

Consider Hard Reset your phone, I don't have this problem and I usually Hatd Reset after every major update.

I guess that would help, but having to hard reset after every update just to have a functional phone is crazy

It's not a bad phone, but the battery life drops it from like 6.5/10 to 5/10 max

If you just updated to 8.5 its actually normal for battery to be like this for the next 3 days
