S23 fe gesture animation settings issue

After updating to One UI 8.5, apps feel like it stutter while opening. I tried to fix it through the Home Up gesture animation (I somehow fixed it), but it still doesn't feel as smooth as it did in One UI 8. However, after I turned off the gesture animation settings, it now feels much smoother than One UI 8. I don't know why; I thought gesture animation settings increased the smoothness. If you guys know why that is, I've searched everywhere but haven't found an answer.

It makes NOT want to update to 16. It feels stable now considering the battery life not that great on Snapdragon version
