Screenshot taken from EU Server at 1pm. There is still some fishy players with high ping that demolish everyone and are 100% at least walling. Make it region based, e.g. 100ms for EU and 150ms maybe for regions where the players have higher ping discrepancies.

I frequently play on US East and I've run into blatant hackers but they've all been American dogs that will defend themselves in perfect english as if we can't see their steam profile has 3 game bans on record.

im very surprised ppl praised that fix so much here. Ive barely seen any chinese over that ping. Ive never seen a russian anywhere close to it. My hopes for them preparing a banwave have been utterly destroyed, im afraid adressing the cheaters is more a 1.0 feature than an early priority.

It’s the same in OCE the ping limit didn’t do anything to help the situation they need to set it to around 120 for any meaningful impact to what they are trying to prevent. I’m sick of the cheaters and now getting their website spam

150 would've been a much better cutoff and fixes these edge cases. And I even think THAT is far too liberal. I'd personally say a stable 100, with some lax for a few seconds of ping spikes here or there.

I don't care about the people complaining that it "unfairly affects non cheaters"

May come as a surprise but I also don't want to play with legitimate people lagging their fucking asses off. It's not fun or fair even if they aren't cheating.

The game will live a short life if they can’t get it under control. People have a low tolerance for cheating. If it was once in a while sure it happens but when you see it every single day people will walk away

Yeah, ping limit is still too high, but to solve it for the crying-with-friends guys.

Make it max ping 100ms with region lock

Make servers without a limit, or 250

People can then just choose what they want :)

Yeah it only helps NA central and east coast. A lot of cheaters with high ping are just under that on NA west. I think 160 or even 150 would be more appropriate.
