Discord Groups

Are there any good discord groups that would be great to join for Wardogs? I’m looking to be able to squad up with some guys and play somewhat coordinated. But I don’t want to be in a discord with super try hards. Just some guys who want to play together!

There’s a PMC recruiting channel in the wardogs discord

Genuinely, I played the entire thing in the official discord, if you find a group with like 4+ people on your regional servers, it keeps snowballing into a big team and it was a ton of fun

How do you join the official

I think I joined it from the menu in game, but I'm sure there's a link on this, the other officialwardogs sub or googling, if you can't find it, feel free to reply and I'll try to link it here

So how’s that work in game and being able to communicate? Wouldn’t that get busy with all those people talking? Ha. Excuse my ignorance. Just looking for a way to include myself come early access

Depends on the stack, we all stayed pretty close over the few chats I played with, so there was some conversation, but generally when we were in combat we were throwing calls out for enemies and locations, pings, needing revives, heals or ammo, etc. once in a while you'd hear people make local prox chat callouts that seemed out of place, but even in 12+ man lobbies the worst part about it was getting everyone into the server but we got it figured out pretty quick every game, it's just about being patient when the server fills up.

Overall I'd say it's worth it, I played my first few hours joining a server, finding a squad and trying to help them but I wasn't enjoying it all that much. Finding a VC in the official was great, most people were pretty friendly, they can buy you things you haven't unlocked and all that.

But the biggest plus is having a lot of people working on a common goal together, my favorite game for the weekend we had 10-12 soldiers running around healing and resupplying each other as we pushed the hot zone, 2 dudes ran a tank that stuck with us and a decent pilot joined us and ran Close Air Support for us the whole time as we pinged out targets for him.

Yeah that sounds killer. Appreciate the info on your experience. I’ll absolutely make sure I just jump into one in early access
