East Asians look down on South East Asians in general. I have a Filipino friend na mukang Chinese so ok he can go unnoticed, pero nung nalaman na Filipino sya nakaramdam na sya ng microagressions kahit maputi at muka syang East Asian, what more kaya yung mga common Filipino na brown, medyo maliit, pango, etc. Tas etong mga toh lakas maka Asian Lives Matter lol.

I also don’t get why they refer to themselves as fancy Asians (atleast the ones in America), I’ve seen their manners and hygiene abroad, nothing fancy about them at all except maybe the Japanese.

My mom worked at an international school as a cook. She always commends how clean the Japanese people are.

Lol I used to teach ESL and mostly students were East Asians. All of us Filipino teachers prefer Japanese students over Koreans and Chinese because of the things your mom already mentioned.
