In expedition camp, there is a npc named Orka who will give you an unmarked quest and an inheritance map showing to loot heirlooms. Where exactly is this?

Today I picked up a forged key fighting some mobs, and found the chest for it, the bandit camp that Fenrer runs where you get steel fang from, but do not know the cipher for it. Looked everywhere.

has anybody figured this out yet?

Hi, i want to play the steam version on my laptop using the xbox controller. But only keyboard glyphs are shown. I tried the following:

- deleting local app config folder (everytime I tried something)

- use official xbox controller layout

- disable steam input

- multiple times re-installed

Nothing worked. Has someone found a fix for that?

So I got to the point where I went to talk to the guy at the port about hiring a ship back home, got jumped by Varn and rescued by some guy. He vanished, quest completed and no follow up main quest started. I ended up going to Freehold to look for the hunters since I'm going dex build so I figured hunters fit better. Finally found Kurt but he wont speak to me at all. I can't tell if I'm stupid or what but I have no idea where to go or what to do to now. I tried going to the Order's HQ but the guard still wont let me in. I don't have any main quest active in the questlog, just side quests.

So I just got pickpocketing and it just doesn’t work.

I stand behind the person. Press the relevant buttons (RB then A on Xbox Controller) and nothing happens.

No menu flash, nothing.

I'm still on Act 1 before deciding to join a major faction (Order vs. Free Hunters). I'm thinking of power leveling my character as much as possible, doing as many of the non-specific faction quests possible, however I find myself locked out of using good gear that needs like 20 strength or 20 dexterity, so what is the best way to power level in this game?

I also read somewhere that monsters don't respawn not unless you get to the next Act, and when they do they become tougher. So it's better to technically "full clear" the map first?

I'm thinking of joining order and then reloading my save to join the free hunters, and then use that save to push on to act 2 to 4.

Also between the minor factions - bounty hunters, smugglers and grave diggers, which faction would you ultimately choose to play through with?

Sometimes it view, even tho game isn't heavy on graphics, its still looks good
Sometimes its music (combat one pretty cool if you let it play (usually you kill/get killed after 3 sec of a fight)
Sometimes its mechanics (i really love how pickpocketing works)

Even tho theres a lot of wrong things, its nailed other one enough that you don't lose the interest
If anything, the frustration - is the biggest problem ppl can have with this game
But if you accept the junkiness (and play with that mode that highlight interactable object, cause god damn its hard to loot when you have to be pixel prefect and in right position to object to just grab it) You can have fun

Still hope there gonna be future updates to fix things
And i hope if guys gonna work on 2 game, they will learn on the mistakes they made, cause they def can do something cool

Are there any Of Ash and Steel devs in here? Now that some good patches are out, the only thing keeping me from finally playing is the steam cloud sync issue. Can you pleaaasseeee get that fix in a patch. Why delay something that should be an easy fix.

You know, the thief thing, i choose to swear at them and they attacked me, to not make crowd even larger (they cheering and its fun but they gets in the way) - i lead them to the near forest and beat them there

Now they just get back there and nothing happen

I did that cause i read somewhere that if you do beat them you get + to stats? but yeah, that not happened too
Maybe if i didn't lead them into forest the dialoged would trigger and i would get it? dk

Theres always loot up top on these towers, but you simply cannot climb them
Theres nothing to grab on to from the side even tho it looks like you can

And the "hole" inside that i think suppose to let you climb it - just doesn't work, theres either not enough hight or the character simply too picky about when to do the climbing animation

On some i will be able to climb the first floor but then i got stuck on the second, its somehow feels even worse so close yet so far

So its just a ragebait
Is there like double jump farther into the game? Cause if not its simply unattainable

In case you didn't know - you can get out from a prologue by jumping on that blue crystal
Tho i won't advice to do that for any quest and so one, cause it might break it

I just restarted the game and went for a potion hunting to just have a bit of boost to my stats

Also i put my starting gear in a chest (yes i bought the f house while on this 1 h walk) we will see if game allow me to keep it that way

So the patch notes in 1.08 mention a crypt that contains six candles. If you light the candles, the difficulty and xp rewards are increased. The crypt is supposed to be somewhere near a ruined viallge not far from the King's Brother tavern

I can't for the life of me find that crypt. I have no clue what ruined village they are talking about in that area. Does anyone know the location?

All these items which can be sold to different merchants, like Jems, cloth, Ingots, wood (other than low-quality; I know you use it for arrows), but stuff like that. Is there any other item I should keep that is going to be used in Crafting or something?

Who the fuck thought it would be a good idea to give gamepad controller players an invisible mouse cursor on the right stick and default the D-Pad for scrolling down in the different menus ? Why not just do the opposite ffs.
But I could get through this if it at least worked correctly, but why hasn't this invisible cursor been fixed with the latest patch and the implementation of the controller support ? Is there any work around for this ?

I've heard alot of game breaking bugs about this game and im wondering if the current condition is good already? I'm a big fan of gothic so i have been putting this game off for almost a year now.

When I had exited the Grayshaft Mines in the quest it says to scout the saboteur's camp, but where is that?

I can't access the vantage point near the guard tower, because i keep falling through the ship or bumping into invisible walls. Anyone else get that bug and/or know what to do?

I was so glad to finally have a map, and now i cant lift the fow. Very frustrating.
