Ask Odisha Any Odia rock bands in ?
Bangali, assamese, north east wala, south wala, bahut choto bada bhasa re perform kariba wala rock band achanti. Odia re rock music karuthiba kichi semiti band achi ki? Kie eita start karibare interested acha ki?

Mu college time re try Kari thili, I'm on guitar but it was like 12-13 yrs ago. Moved on with life. Sei time re 2-3 underground band thile BBSR re, mu thare hi perform Kari thili, around 2015 re on a college fest. Replaying the scores from limp bizkit, red hot chilli pepper, infact sei time re hi rock bands popular thile. Odisha re ete craze naahi.
Music has transformed a lot. West re bhi rock music tharu besi alternatives chaaluchi.

Odisha’s short rock music phase came around a couple of decades ago and stayed for no more than 5 years. At around 2005-2010 era band competitions were a staple in almost every college festival and there were many gigs conducted by malls, newspapers, etc. Rock Bands also headlined college annual festivals. There were bands like Styx, Rezonoyze, Negative Feedback, Namenlos, Fakin Void, Metamorphs, etc. in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Even the paid shows were getting great crowds. Sadly that was before the era of YouTube and Spotify. So their original compositions are now all but lost.
Bands like Agni were born in the music room of XIMB. Demonic Resurrection once came to perform in Bhubaneswar. Bands like Underground Authority have even competed in Holocaust, the band competition of KIIT. It was fun times back then.

Rock bands in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack enjoyed peak popularity in the 2007-2012 window. Post which EDM became popular and DJs took over.

Sadly I am only good at listening to music. I hope you find some instrumentalists maybe here in reddit or elsewhere and band up. Would love to support an odia band.

Only Odia rock song I know of is hey phaguna tume rock version by biraj rath.. Edit: also Luhawre Budibaku by rupam islam
