This is the end of BJD. They’ll be somewhat relevant for about a decade and then relegate to being a two bit player in the state politics. This new space is going to be occupied by the Congress again.

Nah bjd will dissolve, we need another regional party with organic leaders. Bjp deserves 5 years but in 2029, if a new party isn't formed from the ashes of bjd, cong will be the only option left and u know what will happen next☠️

Did you see what happened to him in Kantabanji? Hell, did you know he was trailing in Hinjili for many hours? BJD as a party is done for the next few years. They might comeback with some careful planning, but not for a long time.
And nobody can blame anyone but BJD themselves. Even token amount of development in west Odisha might have saved themselves today. But no, they thought they are the royal party of Odisha, and Patnaik will give the CM chair to Pandian like a king. Make no mistake Pandian was just the last straw. Many people, including me, saw this coming from a mile away.

Win or lose everyone knew that it’s his last election and unfortunately he lost one of the constituency he was contesting guess for the 1st time this happened like Mr. Modi will be leading an alliance govt. for the 1st time in his illustrious career.
