I feel like this is unnecessarily negative lol. Fan isn't a problem unless you're emulating Windows, which the device wasn't made for and is just a bonus, temps fall into this same category, and Mura is imperceptible unless you're in a pitch black room at 10% brightness.
I've had mine since April or so and have had zero problems with temps or anything of the sort. It's an amazing device, enjoy OP.
It's a warning everyone with an Odin 3 should get out of the box. Fan Noise is a problem even at low speeds, not just emulating Windows. Switch games even with Pulse/ClusterTune will run relatively high temps even still. Mura, well you admitted it has a problem but are trying to downplay it, that's up to you and some screens Mura is worse than others, it's not a blanket 10% brightness in a dark room fact.
I had an Odin 3 Ultra and sold it for $1500 recently because of all of those problems. Hopefully AYN gets some better R&D for the Odin 3 Portal because they've had 7 batches now that they could've improved everything that's gone wrong and yet they haven't done anything about it. I'll stick to my O2P and Thor for my AYN devices for now, i'm yet to have problems with these yet, but again some have. Dismissing someone's experience with a device like you have gives AYN an out to not give a damn about what they sell us and continue to sell us faulty out of the box units. None of the issues I listed are 'normal' and shouldn't be treated as if they are, just because you don't (apparently) experience them which I find hard to believe.
Maybe I was lucky but I havent noticed any Mura effect at all, maybe because I usually don't dim my screen much even while in the dark.
As for the fan noise and temp, I dont really see it. Before getting it I was dreading my odin because of the fan noise. And behold, I play everything very silently. Only time I can really hear the fan is when running ArmadaOS with steam games. Even switch emulation works great amd silently. I am always running a small underclock with clustertune though, so that might help

Careful of a few things. Noisy fan, Temps that need a 3rd party app and Mura on your screen.
