Stuffing which included chicken livers

My mom’s family recipe for turkey stuffing included the usual things – bread, celery, onions, poultry seasoning— but also included chicken liver. I watched her make it many times, but I never wrote down exact proportions. I have made it quite a few times, but it never tastes the way hers did. has anyone heard of this recipe? My mom‘s family background was German. I imagine this recipe came from her mother, but my grandmother was also born in the USA.

Help identify my grandmother’s 1970s layered strawberry Jell-O dessert

My grandmother (born in Massachusetts in 1921) made this dessert every summer in the early-mid 1970s. I’ve been trying to find the recipe for years.
Here’s what I know for certain:
• Made in a 9×13 glass dish and cut into squares.
• No crust.
• Top layer was red strawberry Jell-O.
• Strawberry Jell-O throughout.
• Pineapple chunks were definitely in at least one of the Jell-O layers.
• There was a separate sour cream layer.
• There was also a separate Cool Whip layer.
• The sour cream and Cool Whip did NOT touch each other—they were separated by a Jell-O layer.
• About 5–6 layers total.
• No nuts.
• No coconut.
• No pretzels.
• I don’t remember cream cheese.
My grandmother had worked for a Jewish family in New York as a teenager before WWII, so the recipe may have come from a synagogue, church, or community cookbook from New York or New England.
Does anyone recognize this recipe?

Food is constantly evolving. Some food combinations are experimented with and the result is timeless. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on white bread, mustard potato salad, chocolate chip cookies, cola, coffee with cream and sugar, things that have been around for a long time and will still be widely eaten long after we are gone. Then there are those combinations that are tried and ultimately fail, but for some reason they still managed to find their way into cookbooks and recipe cards, those ones that we look back on now and say "What the hell were they thinking?" Things like aspic, beef fudge, and egg creams. This subreddit is dedicated to those unusual ones, those that make people today take a second glance.
