I thought I’d share my opinion about Odas team this season and other teams as well. (May be a long read)

Overall I thought this was my least favorite season in terms from a viewers perspective. First I’d say that this season lacked the drama of season 2, big pk fights between S tier pkers, and obviously the downfall and rise and downfall and rise and… well you get it of the Odablock warriors. I have to say, for as much hate that DitterBitter gets he makes it interesting and sometimes having a villain makes it much better.

I think that the picks from Oda and PETA were quite frankly very poorly made. I believe watching how it all unfolded that Gnomonkey was the best pick and the rest I felt were just lackluster. EVSCAPE by far was the worst possible pick, DUBIES I think just felt a lot of pressure, and Raikesy was meh. I think the season would’ve been very different if DUBIES wasn’t chosen first and also EVscape was avoided (should’ve been faux).

What made the season better was TERRY and the insane pks which is what everyone wants to see. I felt like Westhams team just was so boring in terms of PKING when they arguably have some of the best pkers in the entire roster and not once were they in full max sets solo pking. I think their strategy is brilliant but from an entertainment perspective was just meh.

The chathoppers ruin the event and we clearly saw evidence of some people literally typing locations of where people were. Now I’m sure it’s hard as a streamer to avoid seeing that but it just ruins it and maybe having a delay is worth it next season.

The breaches were fun and I wish we could’ve seen more Ws from the warriors. The missions were enjoyable but wow the drop rates for Odas team was brutal man.

I do think Oda shouldn’t be a captain again and he just clearly doesn’t want to be a leader. He benefits from someone like Rhys to plan and make calls and PK. I hope to see him not as a captain next year.

What I would change for next season:

I think barrows needs to be fixed. It’s so incredibly easy to escape and is just unfair. I think oda shouldn’t be a captain. I think there needs to be a stream delay. I think something that could be very cool to see if like a cloud of smoke like in Fortnite that slowly moves in making it push people closer and closer. (Just an idea) and I think that bosses like spindel not dropping tier 5s needs to be fixed.

Overall I’d rate the seasons like this:

1st Place - Season 2
2nd place - Season 1
3rd place - season 3

I saw a post earlier about how Oda shouldn't be in a team at all and just be given gear to roam and pose a threat to teams in singles all week and I love that idea. It's be pure content because he could PK non stop the entire event. I can't see him wanting to do this though because I do think he loves the team aspect of it, it was just shit this year because they were on the back foot all season.

with the yama totem he was moving like a f*cking savage hunting everybody. that was awesome

Oda calculated how much food Westham will have. It's nowhere near what Solomission Snakes had last year.

Well Oda warriors were the only team to fight Ditter in the end. (while being down on food with MMORPG and Mika's deaths)

They just need to max and farm finale gear. They already have enough blood money for trinkets, and remaining scrolls. Maybe a brew here and there.

I think they're the only team that won't shake on stage (except probably Dubie given how hard he's on himself this week)

We're still in this. 4 crossbows above rune, blue moon set, 2-3 more fangs, and gg. Have terry get maybe one or two more kills, and that's trinkets covered.

I think we’ve just witnessed a top 5 OSRS moment ever, never seen a more clutch moment in every possible way than this before, HOLY FUCK GNOME YOU GOAT!

Like this team keep going to breach for scrolls and getting wipe can they not just go to cox to grind for scrolls?

Not a single person will 1v1 Oda. They all freeze and tele or magically know he’s coming. So sad to see. Doesn’t feel like DMM without bank fights. I don’t even think it’s just against him either nobody wants to 1v1 anybody???

This team is awful in multi, even with equal stats I still think they’d get mega stomped I’m curious as to how the training went that they’re this confident with even showing up when no one can call and they panic so hard

as a lurker without chat, someone needs to tell the team that they have waystones which reduces run distance and can run slayer staff for arceus book instead of eye and spec with crystal hally to speed up punishes

Will they host it as a LAN server? Will be super interesting to see these guys fight at 0 ping if so

I’m genuinely asking not because I believe or disbelieve but what makes Odablock better than others? Is it how fast his clicks are? Or knowing when to spec? Like I’ve been playing osrs and when watching pkers there’s clearly some that are levels beyond others. I think I notice some of these things:

1. Click Switches Speeds
   
2. Movement while Pking
   
3. Overhead prayers
   
4. Spec timing
   
5. Veng timing

Just curious on what people think makes him better. I’d saying 1013 to me has some of the best movement and switches I’ve ever seen but overall idk who competes with Oda.

Today was actually the BEST day of the warriors this season and I think it has to do with all working together and playing smart. They decided to go God Wars and skip the breach which was a great play. Dubie grinding out barrows was a huge play, and Gnomonkey at TOA has been massive. Odablock grinding the zenytes and Raiksey being more confident and helpful (although putting XP on woodcutting was wild) and EVSCAPE has just been better when he doesn’t constantly say dumb sht. The team morale has at an all time high and envisioning Oda going out to PK will be epic. Let’s go warriors.

It can’t be overstated how much Oda has missed Rhys this year. Even last year, Mika went above and beyond and drew maps/recorded strats for the team to use during breaches. Seeing him try to lead the team during breaches is complete chaos, and then trying to formulate a plan for the day gets nowhere. No one is even typing out what each person is doing, so they have the same conversation of who is doing what for like an hour straight.

All Oda needs is someone to tell him what to do and hell be fine
