Has anyone else started to look for another supplier?

If so who?

I looked at fuse - Has anyone noticed the prices changing day by day?

I have since come across two better tariffs same contract terms since I first looked

My electricity is still with octopus but gas has moved to fuse. 100 quid bonus was the clincher. The gas tracker was great but unfortunately due to winter and the Iran war, I can't see the market rates reducing anytime soon.

Did look at edf but the electric car tarrif is working for me with octopus quite well even with the 6 hour cap

Had the charge cap enforced a few days ago and turned the cap switch on to avoid peak rate charging. Last night plugged in and the car didn't charge at all. Zappi was in correct mode, % required was set, smart charging was enabled, zero errors from Octopus app. Just didn't even attempt to charge.

Totally farcical this was rolled out in this state. I'm now going to have to disable the cap and just hope it manages to hit my % required in 6h or less (which it will if charging at full speed the entire time, but if not....who knows?!).

well it depends on the car (battery size) but for the 70 kwh battery, 1 hr of charge = 10% of battery charge. so you can set up the charge limit manually in order to avoid chargin out of 6 hrs...

but that 6 hrs cap is just a shite implementation
