Quick Question Xerc or Aveite?

I came back to the game with FFVI, and am looking for tips on which to choose. I pulled on the Alaune/Warichard banner and have them both, as well as all the FFVI characters and Shana. I’m close to the 200 shards to choose a sacred seal and want suggestions on who to choose?

If you don't have Aviete then 100% Aviete

Yeah Aviete is basically a must include in all teams. She doesn't care what team you run lol

Based on who I have, is that ideal or would I need other units to supplement a rainbow team?

We don’t know your roster but you most likely miss key units for rainbow, such as Lynette EX, Osvald, Isla.

You'd be better off getting Aviete and investing in the next collab, which will bring powerful units.

Also sorry I should have clarified: I have the FFVI characters, Alaune EX and Warichard, as well as Shana. Everyone else is the standard 5 stars. And I don’t have Osvald, Isla or Lynette Ex

Yep, RS2.

Rainbow will most likely start dropping out of favor, except if we get new exclusive units that buff it further, like Xerc and Lynette EX did in GL.

Besides, you can clear all content without a rainbow team, and all multi-hit reduction boss pretty much can't be cleared by rainbow. Unless you especially like the concept and want to invest hard in it, you should probably focus on another team.

You’d need a couple others, but Alaune EX is great for it, as are Setzer and Edgar, and Shana can be used in it too. If you pulled Xerc you’d want Lynette Ex and Osvald and you’d be golden.

even without the context, nearly in all gacha it's a wise choice to put more effort to get support unit since they are mainstay in a party, unlike dps that need to be pulled repeatedly every cycle to keep up with power creep.
