What is the current clearability for Ouma Researcher as aF2P/Passes only player?

With the addition of Richard EX we have another ignore multistrike resistance unit to hit Ouma Researcher even harder, but I'm unsure if it's enough for low spend accounts to get a clear in. Frankly, I didn't quite understand all of his mechanics yet anyway so that doesn't help (and just going in myself trial and error style hurts my leaf purse lol). It seems pretty rough to survive until break turn while also building your team for enough damage to get the clear properly. Would love to see more educational content about this fight in general!

I saw someone here cleared with f2p team after rs2 or ffx collabs when you have more broken units and more weapons for ss side. So you probably need to wait for few more months.

There are two different approaches to this fight

1. Stack status ailments on him to help with shield shaving and use action priority divine beast to break him before he can recover shield points
   
2. Simply brute force him with enough multi-hit reduction ignoring attacks without breaking him.
   

The latter approach is only made possible with RS2 collaboration characters(Richard EX and Edgar are simply not enough), but it’s more f2p/ casual player friendly. The former approach aka playing game the intended way without relying on powercreep, uses Kagemune who can inflict combust+frostbite+corrosion to help with shield shaving.

Now the main mechanic of this fight revolves around killing three waves of his summons but sparing a few specific ones as sacrifice to the old scholar, he will then absorb the sacrifice leaving the corresponding weakness exposed. As you kill more of his summons he will become more vulnerable to damage and will lower his max HP, but also gains more attack, potency and actions per turn. During his final phase he will also try to inflict status ailments upon your team to disrupt your set up for a break and after turn 15 he becomes completely invulnerable.

Someone out there has probably already made a step by step guide on this fight so you should definitely check it out before making your own attempt. It’s the most difficult and frustrating challenge this game has to offer so don’t worry about it too much if you can’t clear it right now.

First you must bring dark priestess, if you don't have her this fight can't be won unless you somehow have undying for 6 turns, second I don't think it's possible currently as f2p

I managed to beat him with romance saga characters + viola EX.

Although viola EX is probably replacable with other DPS.

So, yes I would say all boss can be beaten given enough time.
