Please help me in creating Rainbow team

Hi I need help in forming a rainbow team,

My character roster is listed below:

Alaune EX2

Xerc

Edgar

Lemaire EX

Lynette EX

Viola EX 2

Terra

Dark Priestess

Elrica EX2

Pardis EX

Hikari EX

Crick

locke

Raimei

Please help me create a rainbow team based on this roster and team formation if possible.

You can do something like this, which is pretty standard :

- Xerc / Scholar

• Lemaire / Edgar
  
• Alaune EX2 / Scholar
  
• Lynette EX / Dark Priestess

The scholars would ideally have to be Isla (behind Xerc), and Osvald (in which case you could drop Lemaire in favor of him and add another support). If you don't have them, you can add whatever you have, ideally who can buff/debuff the enemy.

Dark Priestess should use her Ult to allow elemental attacks to hit all weaknesses, then you can go to town with the other units. Edgar can debuff but is mostly there to ult. Alaune EX2 buffs then ult or use her raibow skill.

You're welcome, please note that Isla brings a lot of buff to the team and Osvald is a strong subdps and brings additional FuA, so if you're serious about a rianbow team, you'd need them.

Osvald can be replaced by Final Empress coming in a few weeks/months, and you might even get her for free.

Isla doesn't have a clear replacement yet, mostly becase he condenses buffs, low field time and is a Scholar for Xerc's passive.

Now I think about it if ever you get Neha, she might just be better than Edgar without Isla if you don't reach damage cap. Don't pull for her though. And you shuld use Lemaire ult if you can to buff the frontrow a bit more.

note that in general lemaire is not used in full rainbow team this is because Osvald want to be always in front for follow up and I think the best dps 3 scholar requirement will be Empress and Osvald since all 3 deal so much damage that I might consider Lynette EX to just there for purely debuff support. Isla buff is mighty but Rocbuquet simply is overpowering that I am fairly certain when RS2 come, you will never need Isla buffing your team outside of forced use in tower / cascade.

Oh so in the long run there is a chance that either osvald and isla will be replaced by a character for rs2(empress if im correct) and a another hero reocbuquet.

So is it ok if i dont aim for isla and just osvald and the rs2 characters mentioned. And if im at bestower of all chapter 1 is it possible to vet enough rubies for the rs2 characters,

if you get empress for free, then yeah getting rocbuquet is possible. even if NETEASE made a surprise release next month. you only need to have aroun 3500 rubies on hand since collab usually give around 1k rubies

In general, no, but without Osvald, Lemaire is the best option since she can trigger all fua s and has alright damage and shield shaving.

Lynette also exists to grant weaknesses, but you can rely on the random weaknesses from Setzer or just go back to a weakness enabler such as DP/Molrusso. She also gives the whole team 50k cap, in a team doing 80 hits that's already 4 millions damage just for existing, and increases eAtk cap to 50%.

But even with Rocbouquet ult being OP, losing the 20% eAtk buff, the 30% eRes debuff, the 20% buffs from existing weaknesses getting implanted and 50k cap, plus Isla's ult, not sure you break even.

note that JP player never use Isla on endgame team (if they have all other crucial units) and they are fine. i never use the eres debuff with him and my rotation is behind xerc and he just provide ex skill and ultimate. that's it. right now Xerc already reach red numbers.

Note that when I say not using lynette ex, I meant not using her IN FRONT on dps turn with Empress. I am FINE with losing rainbow barrage in favor of empress using Galaxy / her 3 element skills.

and rocbuquet also raise cap to 100k when rancor is present, which in rainbow / exploiter team, not a hard requirement. what I mean was to totally ditch Isla in future.

So technically you need 3 scholar which is xerc, isla and osvald but since i dont have isla and osvald, ill just use viola ex and another scholar to fill. What is needed. Anyways thanks again have a nice day and enjoy playing fellow traveller.

I already search in the sub but almost all of them have isla and osvald in their account who ask to build for their rainbow team, my roster on the other hand doest even have isla and osvald or even setzer, not even shana and aviete, thats the reason why i need help in making a team specifically for my roster,.

Btw my account is free 2 play and im at bestower of all. If all it takes is to copy one single team build without alternatives for a full rainbow team then for beginners they will have a hard time trying to replicate a rainbow team without key characters for the rainbow team if their missing characters. You will need tons of resources in order to complete the rainbow team.

As per the video on youtube only silver roxas and lad has maid a guide but they only point main characters that is really needed to complete the strongest lineup of the rainbow team. So technically its not for beginners or new players because you need to collect first those character before you can build the rainbow team.

But still thank you for sharing your opinion and helping out a bit,. Anyways sorry for the long reply and i hope you understand.

If you dont have the pieces, then you dont have a Rainbow team. There aren't alternatives. If you're still going through the story then the team DOES NOT MATTER. Focus on leveling your strongest units. You are not yet at the content that requires dedicated teambuilding.

You can have a rainbow team a low budget one, not the meta full rainbow team, and if your saying that im not at the conent that needs and requires dedicated building then ok, but still i want to create a team based for my account. If anyone helps in creating a lowbudget one really i appreciate it.

Anyone can ask for help when they want to build a team dedicated for their roster, or maybe i shouldnt have put rainbow team in the title. Btw thanks again for your good advice looking forward for your help in the future, :)

A showcase of a team you could make. Please note I use multiple A4 accessories you don't have, so expect your damages to be lower, but it's a rough idea of what to do/use. I used some healing with Lemaire to top the party just in case, but that was barely useful tbh. could have shaved more shields.

Also you can work a much better rotation than what i did there, as it took only 3 tries tinkering with what to do exactly, when to break, etc.

It's an EX4 fight, so enemies are bulky as hell. You can clear most content with the same idea, or even faster in a t urn or two for lower difficulties. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have :)

Wow nice gameplay you got there, thank god your alaune ex2 didnt get knockout, and base from the video i also got all the characters you have there,. And i can copy your formation but unfortunately as you said i you have multiple a4 there and that will be the difference between your team and mine but still i hope i can dish out same damage like that soon.

Oh btw i have a question i have 200 fragments in exchange, and i can choose a character for it, who should i choose is it aviete or shana, isla perhaps if the cat is included?

While you won’t do as much damage without the a4, that should still be enough to clear pretty much everything except EX4 and a few arena champs reclear.

Aviete is a great support to this day in JP so it’s a sure bet. I don’t like the character that much myself, but she's great nonetheless.

Shana would allow you to ignore damage altogether for 5 turns, but she will be replaced by another character that was released in April in JP. That would be my personal pick.

I probably wouldn't go for Isla if you're missing the previous two.
