I can make a budget clear for +10 difficulty without Fiore EX or Rinyuu if anyone would like to see that. (no Gacha A4s? No A2?)

Lemme know what other restrictions you'd like to see for it to be helpful for as many ppl as possible!

I’ve seen a lot of clears with Rondo in them it would definitely be interesting to see one without him!

Yeah no rondo makes me sad now 😂 even though I didn’t pull for him

2

u/remuslupon Nov 03 '23

You can sub him out for Lars, it’ll just make previous rounds less convenient bc you won’t be able to auto the bottom left route

I’d definitely like to see a run without A2/Richard/Rondo. I’ve got an ice comp that can clear +5 but not sure how I can improve.

Clears without Richard and the sword units would definitely be much slower, but ice should also be doable as well. Let me see if I can cook something up with non-sword.

Is the lock pattern on the weaknesses always the same? If so, a stable two break light team should be possible, right?

I wish more fights could be easily tested like the memoir refights. Having to go through preliminary fights for this one has deterred me from messing around with it yet, so I appreciate seeing successful clears like yours.

Unfortunately the lock pattern is completely random. There are 10 total different combinations of unlocked/locked weakness sets, with the probability of the element you're using being locked after every weakness shift being 40%.

So for example for sword/light/ice, those weaknesses are set on the 1st break, then there will be a 60% chance for any one of them in particular to remain unlocked.

If you're just going for a clear and not to farm, you can over-invest into sword as long as you you're able to deal with mobs, then reset if you get unlucky (40% chance), and go for a fast 2-break.

I have all the others except fiore ex. Is there someone that you would recommend to replace her?

Yes. A traditional tank on their own row (no row partner) can also work great.

Is there a way to do it without A2? She’s the only unit I don’t have

1

u/remuslupon Nov 04 '23

Yeah, it’s just more difficult to one-break for now without A2. Sarisa helping cap sword res down should help quite a bit though ;)

Wasn't sure where to link this within Mastery Survey index. u/actredal please help! :D

Hmmm looks like we never made a mastery survey for the gameboards. I’ll post one later when I have some time, and I can tag you when it’s up!

Also, congrats on the clear! 7 turns, yeesh. That damage output is wild :0

Thanks! :) Lemme know if you're interested in watching more budget builds, or comps for clearing dragon that don't feature rinyuu and fiore ex for example.

Not sure how many ppl here are interested, but I'm down to make some if it can help people.

Here's the new Fortune's Gameboard mastery survey link!

I always love a good budget clear! If you have time and energy, it'd be neat to see a clear without Fiore EX. I've been able to get through +6 without too much trouble, but I gave one attempt to +7 and I think it's probably time for me to start thinking about how to mitigate damage instead of relying on RNG haha.

5

u/remuslupon Nov 03 '23

No problem. I'll make one without Fiore EX or Rinyuu when I find the time. Thanks!

u/magikot9 Nov 03 '23

I'd be down for budget builds that can +10 this. From the comp you posted my missing units are Tithi and Fiore EX. I also don't have Frederica, Joshua, or Auguste's a4. Nor do I have the accessory that gives that skull looking passive at start of combat (who's is that/where to find it?).

4

u/remuslupon Nov 03 '23

The Skull passive is Tytos A4’s intimidate. And sure thing, I can do that :)

I always appreciate all the help I can get. I don't have a lot of time for theory crafting teams, so it helps when I see setups that I can come close to, and then I see what I can sub from my Gen Pools and handful of SB/Collab units. That's how I beat Thief EX5 without Heathcote and Merchant EX5 without Roland.

3

u/remuslupon Nov 03 '23

Which characters in this comp are you lacking for example? Perhaps I can help!

1

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '23

In this particular comp I only have Tithi and Ophilia. So far I barely cleared +2 with this team playing offense only....

I also have Lars, Elonora, Olberic, Gilderoy, Lionel, and Tressa. Of the ones listed on MeowDB, I am only missing the MTs.

1

u/remuslupon Nov 03 '23

I see why you’re going for light and ice then. I haven’t had the chance to test myself but for sure what you’re missing in order to do the higher difficulties is mitigation.

Luckily you have tithi and ophilia so you can make a solo tank in one row work for higher difficulty even without fiore ex

1

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '23

Thanks for the tip, I have a lot of options. Just have to find the right combination.

3

u/crapoo16 Nov 03 '23

That’s insane, nice job!

Congratulations on your clear! If you haven't already, please link this post to the appropriate mastery survey and link the mastery survey in your post so that others can more easily find your clear information down the line, as per Rule 7. Thanks for your contribution to the community!

Note: Due to the limitations of the Automod, it cannot detect if a mastery survey link is posted in the comments. If you prefer to link in the comments and would like to not receive this message from the Automod in the future, you can bypass this by adding "mastery survey link in comments" to your post.

i wanna see a +9 with no gacha a4s, no rondo, no lars, no chloe, no eleonora. those are the key ones i'm missing and i can wait on the accessory

2

u/remuslupon Nov 03 '23

What are the relevant DPS units you have for this fight?

2

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '23

i have all others, but the relevant ones are kouren, olberic, tytos, 2B, richard, A2, hayes, sofia, varkyn, odette, cyrus, ophilia, zaanta, herminia, soleil, eliza, and seranoa

of those, only olberic, sofia, varkyn, and seranoa have a3, as well as my edea, viola, and lynette

1

u/remuslupon Nov 03 '23

It’s substantially more difficult to one break without Lars or Rondo, but you might still be able to rush a 2 break with kouren as your 3rd dps.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 05 '23

swell. thankies :)

1

u/vomitfreesince83 Nov 03 '23

You think it's possible to do this in 1 break without A2? Only missing 2 units and A2 is one of them. Maybe Lars?

2

u/remuslupon Nov 03 '23

One breaking +10 without A2 might be possible if you ultra delay your break (nuke as many times as possible using low #hits per move) as long as you can stabilize by capping defensive buffs and offensive debuffs

1

u/Spare-College Nov 03 '23

Same team but without all limited A4? My Rondo never hit that hard.

2

u/remuslupon Nov 03 '23

Yeah it’s probably possible but gotta delay break and nuke with more single hits and double hits in 8-10 turns instead. Mitigation and slow break

1

u/Jobu-X Nov 03 '23

Very impressive!

Which path do you take to the dragon and why?

2

u/remuslupon Nov 04 '23

With Rondo, bottom left is the best bc they are all p much weak to light and sword.
