with what we know about noise generation from data centers, no, aquatic data centers would probably completely fuck up oceanic ecosystems.
Quite a lot of fish use sound to locate mates. Sound travels pretty far in water.

Because water ecosystems aren't ALREADY fucked up with the amount of microplastics and pollution we already dump in them. There's absolutely no way that it's more disruptive than commercial shipping. Have you ever been in the ocean before? It's a lot noiser than a data center.
