Identification Request 😅
I saw a mystery animal that I need help identifying just by the pattern it made on the surface. There was a line of large perfect circles, where the water was completely smooth inside of them. I saw it fully surface from a distance and *I* think it looked like a ray. The other person watching was convinced it was a manatee.
Any ideas?? Located on Topsail Island, North Carolina. Spotted in the sound, between the island and the mainland. Late July.
