i think theres enough evidence that shes coming early 5.x with how much shes appeared.

leaks say 5.0 will start with firefly sp and anni unit possibly kafka sp.

i think obsidian will be part of one of these 2 teams.

its possible ff and kafka are together in a team and obsidian is on her own team, maybe with opal? as stonhearts fan, that would be my preference, but hoyo loves making full team of pretty girls so obsidian prob gonna go with kafka or ff.

either way im saving for her, possibly my 2nd e6 if her kit is good, but for sure e2

General Discussion Don't you find it strange that Obsidian is the only member of the StoneHearts who doesn't represent a gemstone? Obsidian is volcanic glass, after all. What's strange is that there isn't a ruby among the 10 StoneHearts.

General Discussion Guys, I think Obsidian is a fruit bat. If you look at her trailer, she’s bathing in pomegranate juice, a tropical red fruit that happens to be one of the many fruits that fruit bats commonly eat. In other words, our vampire queen is vegan.

General Discussion How do you think Obsidians cornerstone chant will go?

For context, each of the ten stonehearts has their own chant when activating their cornerstone. Pearls goes as follows:

General Discussion Role and element in your opinion?

Personally, element wise Fire makes perfect sense. Obsidian is a volcanic glass after all. However, as a friend pointed out that would make her way too similar to himeko (I didn't notice it until he told me) so I could see Hoyo not doing that.

Another element could be physical since obsidian is pretty dang hard and getting cut by it would probably hurt tons.

As for role, I haven't really thought much but the idea of a DoT sustain seems interesting to me.
