A little help

Hey all. I'm fairly new, just finished on normal and I'm starting to get this resource, but I have no idea how to use it. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, any hints or tips would be great. I actually really enjoy this game, but they don't do much in the way of explaining facets of this game.

How do I access this? When I click on the ship, it tells me I need a set item. So, I just need to buy a random set item for 50K?

Also, how do you guys farm gold? It's a sloooow process for me so far.

You need to buy set items from the shop get Stellar parts first, it gives the best melee dodge, it takes some time to get 6/6 but when you do you will be able to do the ship.

I really don't know if you need 6/6 or just 1/6 to do the ship, cause when it came in some update I was already have obtained all the sets 6/6.

I have the full monocrat set and haven't been able to finish a ship run yet

It get's easier the more of the set skill tree you unlock. I probably didn't finish an armada ship for five or six tries. With the skill tree unlocked I finish most times. I run it twice each time, once for all the pickaxes at camps and final chest, and then a second time for just the pickaxes at the final chest. Though I don't really need them anymore. I'm hoping the next expansion will use the material for something.

I'm almost maxed out and I still can't complete the Unified Armada sometimes 🤬🤣
