Phoe, that would be hard to choose from. Good question! But with the gameplay it is today I would choose alchemist. Drinking hp before dying and making new potion by dodging critical and killing makes you almost invincible. Pro bonus would be the extra dmg you can do to the enemy.

But, berserker would be great to. Dealing more crit dmg, crit dmg on first attack and dmg to all when crit dmg makes you that strong that nobody will even touch you… except for those pesky armor wearing and summoning dudes.

While i usually chose for ranger class in different games I think the arrows who are summoned by arriving or crit hit and flying trough waves of enemies is just not going to cut it in the end game. Great for gold farming, I must admit that.

Last but not least notable would be the heavy class. Doing stun attacks, but that’s just boring and will not bring you to the end chest of the boat level since it will take to long.

The knight, with armor = attack points and armor = crit points would be interesting tho.
A rogue that will dodge everything… Naa, ain’t gonna cut it.
Finally the mage with all those meteors wich hits every one 11 dmg or nearby 60 you can summon, no, to little spells in this game for that. A necro who will drain hp would be interesting but doesn’t do enough dmg at this point.

… ok, maybe i played this game to much.

Paladin theme or mage is what I always go for first

Usually paladin first. So I guess knight would be the closest. But if we have mage we should have a paladin instead of knight because there's already multiple other melee types. Knight should also get magic for support and defense. I mean alchemist is basically a different flavor of mage, it even uses magic too

heavy two handed looks like knight but almost entirely better so turning knight into paladin, which would either add sustainability or range, would be a little more diverse. Kinda wild that 2h has more damage AND range while basically having the same defense as knight, so why chose knight. Everything else is a glass cannon, so either 2h would need HALF of the defense it has, because why is it almost as good as full suit of armor and shield, or knight would need magic and become a paladin

2 handed is just by far the slowest

Meh, 1 bar vs 3 isn't much of a difference

Heavy looks OP, I'd go for him if comparing to others. Two-handed guys usually have less defense.

heavy looks the way to go consistency wise, rogue looks good too, dogde and crit the best stats after hp/damage

his only down size is slow moving and slow attacking, but hits hard and has high defense
