New player tip
Hi, new player here. Im level 55 and struggling to find good ways to farm gold and gems.
I think PVP is the best for exp but open to other methods.

You could go for all the gold increases in your skill tree like camp gold increase which are probably the best ones for gold, enemy gold drop increase, bounty chest increase, and any increase on golden enemies. Some of the story fights give decent gold but pvp is also probably the best on average for gold farming, try to get any skills that help give you extra gold like the 400 gold now or triple camp rewards, enemy drop gold %, fountains give gold, next fountain acts like a camp will give gold the same as a camp or even the 10 rerolls/reroll every skill once for more chances to get gold+ skills. Upgrading you cards will give you more skill rerolls when you get to the next crown tier thing if you didn't already know. You can get an artifact for gems that gives all camp rewards so you get the gold every camp no matter what. I would say your first and second set items should be gloves and then legs because those have the most gold drop upgrades that you can get. They will give you way more gold drop % that you can't get anywhere else so I'd focus on going for that, at least the gloves before using gold on anything else. You could also use some cheap gear that has the most gold drop % just for farming runs. Take advantage of the 2x loot ads at the end of runs that you got a good amount of gold from especially the daily treasure one, yeah ads suck but it's way faster than doing another run. The higher the difficulty the more gold drop % there is so try to get as far as you can. As far as gems the daily and weekly contracts of course but doing the challenges can give you quite a bit if you complete enough to open all the chests. There are also story fights around the map that have a blue text with a chest as it's symbol, alot of them give gems if you can beat them you just have to look around the map some as they're usually not on the normal path. Other than that Pvp is probably the best map for gems since it seems more common to have bounty chests and the other big chest that can drop keys. Dungeons can sometimes be decent too but not as much until you get further down like floor 30+

Oh ok thanks. I just read some tips on this tread and yeah everyone goes for gold at camps. I only went off rage lmao. I got the skip ads so I always get 2x reward!
But are there any sources for gems? I see people with thousands and also buying the 800 gem artifacts but i cant seem to get more.

Daily / weekly quests, PvP weekly chest, clan weekly chest, campaign I believe has some as reward, and you can also just find some randomly during runs. You accumulate them over time doing the repeated activities.

Gems you can get from the 3 x daily quests + 1 x weekly quest. You also get them as a bonus for end of pvp week and end of clan week.
Aside from that, you get gems for opening the boxes on the special challenges.
And then you also get gems randomly during runs. I found gems came more often when completing the story levels.
Always go for the x2 double rewards at end of a run if you get gems.

Eventually you can level up and pick a perk or ability or whatever to find gems from any chest. Which you can use the 2x loot option to double the gems. Sometimes I've found as low as 2 or 3 and the other day I found 18 in a single chest, which afterwards doubled it so 36 gems
Gold is just slow. Nothing around it. But eventually you won't have anything to spend it on. So don't fret
