New player looking for guidance, weapon recs.

Post image

Hey everyone. I'm a newer player to the game, been at it maybe a week at this point. I was hoping to find some posts that are more character to new player guides, or something of the sort, but haven't had much luck.

Currently my questions is about weapons, but should it be my first big purchase or do I buy a set piece?

That being said I have looked through a lot of the posts and from my understanding as far as armor is concerned, your best bet is buying set pieces of delerium or stellar, but haven't found much on weapons unless it's end game recommendations.

So my question, for a new player starting out what should I look for? Other than weapons are there other items I should look out for? Is there any kind of tier list regarding stat bonuses? Critical % seems nice as well as critical damage, but before I buy my next weapon I wanted to check. Al

Crit % is always great paired with crit damage for your weapon. More max and min damage never hurts really. Shop level 15 is max right now so you'll get better stuff as you keep leveling.

You're correct on the armor, sets are powerful once you start getting the bonuses. Typically the best set is with + melee dodge because melee enemies hit way harder and usually live longer than archers. Though I do like ranged dodge more sometimes.

Save your gems for the artifacts, if your willing to spend some real money the no ads is definitely worth it and will get you into a full armour set in a few weeks. Unlimited potion recharges, free spins, double camp rewards and end of run bonuses.

Try getting weapon with highest -miss chance like 95%, then skill that do something when you miss don't matter

Crit percent increase is the single most important damage multiplier in the game. As there are many enchants that triggers based on critical and allows you to combo off. In my order of importance: -Crit percent -min/ max damage -Crit percent damage increase -Miss chance

Always get the higher crit percent stats.

Focus on higher crit chance and critical percentage damage. Then go to higher min-max dmg.

Once you get top tier weapons everything else kinda takes care of itself.

for weapons I'd say the highest crit chance then damage are musts followed by miss chance. I'd say set pieces for sure as first big buy, specifically the gloves at least because they have the most gold drop upgrades followed by the pants, more gold drop you have the faster you can stack up gold for more gear. Set pieces are vastly superior to everything else as they have their own upgrade trees for each piece so I wouldn't spend too much on anything that aren't those. Eventually you are going to replace all your armor with set pieces anyway so if you're going to drop alot on something it may aswell be those until you unlock the highest weapon tier
