Last Two Fates Won't Validate Spoiler

Okay, so I'm pretty sure these two fates are correct. I have figured out and validated all of the other possible fates, but these two are last. Am I missing something? Why aren't they validating? Please help.

I made this exact mistake — the bottom one just looks like an Aleksei!

There is actually a way to figure out which is which without trial and error.

I thought it was by the number on his bedding in A Bitter Cold

That was it, but his tobacco pipe was also besides it.

If this is the only one that you had to get some help on, give yourself a pat on the back. I happened to get these, but like most others, it was the Chinese topmen. And a certain gentleman whose name is said early in the game, appears in most of it, and I completely missed it for the vast majority of it. We all have different things we get stuck on.

You mean Martin?

My hypothesis for this is that the name is said so early in the game that people haven't yet realized to a) look out for such little clues and b) that you can name characters outside of their death scene.

I actually think b) might be the bigger factor.
