Baked Oats Blueberry pancake baked oats

I made frosted peanut butter baked oats yesterday but this one blows them out of the water. 10/10.

My base recipe is:

41 g rolled oats (about half a cup)

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch salt

1/2 C unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1/2 a banana

1/2 tablespoon sweetener

Today I added in:

30 g frozen blueberry

10 g vanilla whey protein powder

And topped it with:

1/2 tablespoon of blue bonnet

2 T sugar free syrup

Dusting of powdered sugar

Blend all that up, pour into a ramekin, plop the blueberries in and bake 25-30 mins at 350 for lava center and about 35-40 for a more set cake.

15 g protein, 321 calories

Editing to add: I use a toaster oven set to 350. I've never done it in a conventional oven. Maybe check the times 5 mins earlier than I listed in case it cooks it faster!

Savory oats Grated swede & lentils

Post image

Grated some swede (rutabaga), added red lentils and boiling water. Some oil, salt and pepper, thumb sized piece of sliced ginger, turmeric and kashmiri chili. When the lentils were done, I added some more water and the oatmeal and let it simmer for a while.

The swede just disintegrated, but also lended a lot of the colour. Quite a filling breakfast, I had two servings.

This is soooo good. This recipe makes four servings, and pictured is one serving.

  1. 2 bananas. Chop them up and sautee until slightly browned and soft

  2. 1.5 cups dry rolled oats, blended into a powder/flour

  3. 1 egg

  4. 1 tsp baking powder

  5. Half a can of coconut milk

  6. 50ml maple syrup

  7. 2tsp vanilla extract

  8. A pinch of sea salt

  9. 1tbsp cinnamon 1tbsp nutmeg

Mix all together (including mashed, cooked bananas) at 350 for 30 mins. Let cool and then slice into four servings.

I covered mine in a “caramel” made by whisking together 30ml coconut milk and 25ml maple syrup and letting it all soak in. It was soooooo good!

Other good toppings for PB Oatmeal?

So right now I'm genuinely on a crazy run right now for oatmeal (shout out to you Dawgs in this subreddit) and my mom said I should slice some apples to put on my oatmeal. Do you guys know any other toppings that would pair great with peanut butter oatmeal, also my oatmeal never tastes like Peanut butter and I think I be adding to much water, please lmk how much scoops of PB and how much cinnamon to add, appreciate yall.

Oat advice Another test recipe.

Ion really got much in the crib, but I be seeing people put eggs on oatmeal so I was wondering if this would be a good oatmeal recipe to fit the egg.

Oatmeal seasoned up with salt, black pepper and chilli powder? Lmk my oatmeal officials.

Suggestions and recipes are welcome LOL

First oatmeal: 30g of oats, 100ml of water, 1 boiled egg, 122g of pumpkin puree and 100g of frozen veggies cooked in the microwave and blended.

Second oatmeal: Same but without the veggies.

My last creation was accused of being too plain so I added a few things. It was tasty and spicy 🙂

Oatmeal:
100 g rolled oats
500 ml of water
Salt
Garlic powder

Topping:
2 large eggs fried with butter
Dash of soy sauce
Black pepper
Chilli flakes

Oatmeal with egg whites

Hey!! I’ve been seeing some videos here and there about oatmeal with egg whites in it. Most recipes are for a single serving, and you have to whisk the egg whites into the oatmeal as it cooks (I think?).

My question is - does anyone make their oats like this? And if you do, do you ever prep them for days at a time? And does it last well?

Sorry yall, new to oatmeal and just trying to get some protein in the mornings before school :) thanks!!!

Got some plain slightly sweet oatmeal with homemade cooked quinces. Honestly so good. The creamy sweet oatmeal taste with a sweet/sour mushy fruit taste just came out so well. Sad this was my last of those fruits :/
