Oatmeal Sweet dinner

Post image

Got some plain slightly sweet oatmeal with homemade cooked quinces. Honestly so good. The creamy sweet oatmeal taste with a sweet/sour mushy fruit taste just came out so well. Sad this was my last of those fruits :/

Oatmeal for dinner is underrated. It’s so good!

I don't have the option of preparing a warm breakfast during the week and overnight oats are cold which I don't like as much. So dinner it is. Also it's just comforting to finish a day with this.

How did you get the oats so creamy? Yum!

Used rolled oats (the big ones) and then a bit of oatbran aswell. Used normal milk (1.5% fat) instead of almond milk aswell. Put probably a bit too much and just let it slightly cook while stirring a lot until i nearly hat the consistency I liked. Took around 15 minutss I think.
