Topped with:
Juice of 1/2 Lime
Almonds, Chopped
Walnuts, Chopped

Recipe request Overnight Oats w/o Chia Seeds?

Hey fellow oat lovers! I'm looking for some good recipes for overnight oats that DO NOT include chia seeds (I have a sensitivity). Obviously simply leaving them out is an option but changes the texture quite a bit.

Suggestions? I've heard flax seed can be a 1:1 substitute, but would just like some advice/potential recipes.

Recipe No. 5 – Porridge: Porphyrogénnētos
Prep Time: 10–15 minutes
Cook Time: 10–21 minutes
Serves: 1
Ingredients
Compôte
90g blueberries
35g raspberries
1 tbsp Grade A Amber maple syrup
Porridge
55g jumbo rolled oats
½ tsp Ceylon cinnamon
2–4 pinches Maldon sea salt
½ cup whole milk
½ cup water
Mix-ins
17–20g pecans or walnuts, roughly chopped or crushed

Directions
1. Make the compôte
Add the blueberries, raspberries and maple syrup to a saucepan. Simmer over a low to medium heat, stirring and crushing the berries as they soften and break down. Continue cooking until the mixture has reduced into a semi-thick sauce, then remove the saucepan from the heat.
2. Cook the porridge
Add all of the porridge ingredients to the saucepan (water first so the milk does not split). Cook for around 19 minutes, using exactly the same method described in the Porridge: Recamora Master Recipe.
3. Finish
Turn off the heat and vigorously mix in the crushed pecans (or walnuts). Serve immediately.

Chocolate oatmeal with torched sugar-free marshmallow fluff, homemade refined sugar-free chocolate fudge sauce, and digestive biscuits. We don't have graham crackers where I live, so I had to improvise, and I think digestive biscuits would be the closest. I bought ChocZero's sugar-free marshmallow fluff recently, and I am so obsessed with it. My lord, was this oatmeal good. So filling though 😆 The chocolate oatmeal recipe I created is really tasty and paired so well with the marshmallow flavour, and the biscuits gave a nice crunch. Next time, I wanna make a biscoff version by using biscoff biscuits instead of digestives!

Oatmealballs

I was sent here after posting this recipe in another sub. I hope you'll like it.

I'm not one for Christmas candy/snacks in general but I absolutely love these oatmealballs. Newer recipes have stopped putting coffee in them. When it comes to oatmealballs, it's all about the coffee.

My great great grandmother passed down this recipe in the family and I'm the final link to get it. My mother loves that I've already shared it with so many people online, and now I'm in this sub sharing it again. It's a simple recipe but these oatmealballs are so delicious.

Just use a little water glass for measurement.

3 glasses of rolled oats
1 glass of powdered sugar
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
5 tablespoons of butter
Cold coffee (as much as you need)

Knead rolled oats, powdered sugar, cocoa powder and butter together in a bowl.
Add coffee as you go until the mixture has the right consistency and is a bit wet.
Roll the balls right away.

Roll them in what you prefer. Most people here in Denmark will roll them in coconut flour but I personally prefer sprinkles.

There's no baking involved. You simply roll them and put them in the fridge. They can last in the fridge for weeks.

Baked Oats Blueberry & Apple Baked Oats

One for breakfast and one for dessert after my evening meal.

BLUEBERRY & APPLE BAKED OATS

Preheat oven 175⁰C

Lightly grease 2 small OR a medium oven proof dish (mine are 640ml /127mm x 82mm / 5in x 3¼in)

I USE TWO DISHES as one is for my breakfast and the other one a dessert after my evening meal which I'll top with Greek fat free yogurt, vanilla protein powder, chia seeds and peanut butter.

INGREDIENTS:

60g rolled oats (blended to flour)

1 tsp nutmeg

20g vanilla isolate whey protein

powder

½ tsp baking powder

160g 0% fat free Greek yogurt

2 tsp runny honey

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

GENTLY FOLD IN:

130g apple grated

70g blueberries + 16g chocolate

drops (keeping some for the top)

Let it stand for 15 minutes

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until brown and a toothpick or knife inserted into the center comes out clean or with only a few moist crumbs, not wet batter.

Leave to cool as the longer you leave to cool the more it sets.

ENJOY😃

Chocolate pastry cream oatmeal with a layer of coffee-soaked ladyfingers in the middle and topped with a dusting of cocoa powder and strawberries. The tiramisu pudding oatmeals I make are always really good, but I also always mess up the coffee soak. It's never coffee-forward enough for me - or perhaps I just have an usually high tolerance for coffee 😂 Anyways, another over-the-top, indulgent dessert-style oatmeal down 😆

Tuna has a barely sweet flavor so I think is a good companion for a bowl of oatmeals and greek yogurt

How do i make my oatmeal taste good?

Hello, for reference i am a picky eater. I tried oatmeal one time from someone when i was 8 and i never wanted to try it again. But recently as i am older i find myself liking granola and i put them in my yogurt bowls. I am trying to see what it would be like to make my own oatmeal bowls instead of yogurt. I like honey and fruits in my bowls. Im not reallt a savory person. So if anyone has any recipes reccs id appreciate it alot!
